What is the worst car you want to own?
SRT4
I want a Fiero too but only pre-swapped so the SRT4 is probably worse
>>14670377
SRT4 can shame pretty much any 4-banger import, while the Fiero is bascially a random mix from the GM parts bin. Neon is probably better.
>>14670353
Fiero here too, op.
Why god? How long until we get a newly redesigned civic coupe?
>>14686356
Stop your whining, it's a very nice car. You don't have to buy it.
>>14688257
The sooner no one buys the current one.
>>14686356
I think it looks OK. They just need to lose the chrome bit up front.
Hey /o/, need some help.
My 2.0 VI gen Accord is having some trouble at idle speed.
Basically the problem starts soon after starting the engine, it shakes when it's at stop, or when breaking and approaching idle. It was paired with a check light pointing the fault at the main o2 sensor.
O2 sensor has been replaced, same with spark plugs and the wires, but apparently the poor idle problem is still there (check light doesnt show up anymore) - that's what the mechanic over the phone said.
About 6 months ago the car had a floating idle speed...

Looking to get an air compressor and I need opinions. But to make it more /o/ related let's have a home mechanic tools thread. So post tool questions, tool suggestions, comments and all that kind of shit.
It will be used for light garage work, so airing tires, blowing particulate off of stuff, eventually powering some light duty air impact/wrench/hammer/etc and other stuff like that. Nothing super demanding or needing to be run for minutes at a time with no stopping.

I live in Alaska so Harbor Freight isn't an option unfortunately. If it was I probably would have gotten that one already
Help me /o/, today i installed the esp switch (pic related) in my fiesta, problem is it doesn't do anything, the esp off led in the dash doesn't light up and the switch itself doesn't indicate anything either

Make sure you hold it down for at least 3 seconds
then you did it wrong
I'm an Amerifat and have the opportunity to trade my 2014 Mustang GT for a bone stock 80,000 mile 1997 red TT Supra.
The only issue is I would have to get about a $15k loan as I would trade the Mustang in for it. This car is something i've wanted since before fucking Paul Walker ruined it for me.
Thoughts?
pic related, it's my current car
I wouldn't do it, though if I had a Mustang coupe, I might trade it in for a convertible.
>>14684736
Don't pawn your ass for an obsolete car with a shitty 90s Japanese interior and A/C. Don't be a retard and think about this objectively.
No, just no. Buy it as a project car if you want, but I wouldn't trade such a new car for it.
Post up your fave, Unicorns, Rare, Uncommon Cars and anything else like that... Mine is Saab
Kind of rare, dont see many in comparison to normal M cars and such

B5.5 Passat W8 wagons.
Torque convert + auto transmissions implode.
Cam adjusters fail throwing an interference engine out of time
Major issues with moonroof leaks.
Still a VW.
But man I love that car. 2004 in dark blue on black? Yes please.
Next choice is a 2001 BMW 750iL. Because V12, and comfy as fuck.
tdi wagons w/ manuals
>tfw got one of 2 for sale on the west coast at the time
hey /o/, how come there aren't any small displacement v8's?
like 2L v8's.
I imagine such motors would be pretty economical while providing decent power
>>14683908
Have you ever heard of a 6L v4?
>>14683908
Those would be tiny cylinders.
>>14683908
Just splice together two inline 4's
It's getting warmer, the sun's starting to come out, birds are chirping and the roads are less sandy and more inviting.
What do you use to clean up your car on a nice day?
Soap
Meguiars Carubana Wax.

I wait till the birds shit all over the car then i buff in the bird shit. The acid from the shit east through the dirt and grime.

Does anyone have that picture of the guy with his Acura with the text :I had no friends in school now I have an acura etc. I forget how it goes exactly
>>14683480
You mean the one where he's like but now I own an Acura and everyone loves me?
Perhaps cringe thread?
i heard about putting zipties on your fender so you wouldnt curb your wheels?
how do you do this?>
I'd imagine just using them like curb feelers on an old low rider or something. Don't know how effective they would be compared to actual curb feelers though.
Don't drive like an idiot?
>>14683001
You'd have to use metal zip ties because I doubt you'd hear plastic ones when they scrape.
Hey, /o/, I'm looking to buy a moped, but I don't have a truck to transport it.
Can you put a moped down on its side without wrecking it? I know it's kinda bad to put a bicycle down on it's crankside, but I don't know shit about mopeds.
I've got a Ford Escape and I'm thinking that it'll fit crammed in the back with the seats down.
buy a bolt on toe hitch for 100 bucks and get a uhaul motorcycle trailer for 20 bucks a day.
it's going to take 3 people to put that thing in the back of your ford and soak everything in gas and oil.
>>14682644
Sure, just drain the oil first.
Literally bullshit thread
