Yes, just buy the right size.
Protip, on older vehicles you can almost always get wipers that are at least 2" longer, and they will cover more of the windshield.
My 80's car calls for 17", I run 22" wiper is a quarter in from the corner, and wipes just fine.
I want to buy a daily that's both classy as fuck and also has some power.
My budget is flexible, 30-120k.
I've been thinking about a 300SEL 6.3 with a 6.9 driveline swap, and later on maybe a 4L60E instead of the ancient 3spd fluid coupling/4spd non-locking auto.
I'll be frank here, non-American classics absolutely suck for restomods because nothing bolts up to anything. If you want to make modifications or have modifications made, go American. There's mount kits and adapter plates for everything. You can probably find mid-50s Cadillacs already restomodded with modern engines, brakes and suspension for reasonable money.
Restomods or whatever you call them are fucking stupid.
>>14710362
>if car mods don't come in a premade kit they're shit
Focus ST vs Fiesta ST?
I've heard people say the fiesta is fun to drive while the focus feels like a muscle car.
yeah yeah RS is coming but I'm not paying 35k for it. I'm also buying used.
FiST
>>14710247
Not to be a bitch, but should the FoST be considered for its roomier interior and its family friendliness?
Can't imagine sticking the fambam into the FiST
>>14710245
You can get a V8 mustang if you're not a cuck that buys new
please ID this mustang for me
Is that a Roush?
>>14710128
some kind of weird dodge mustang
>>14710128
Roush with a bodykit
My budget stretches to an R53 Cooper S or an R56 Cooper with about 80-100k miles on the clock.
The newer cooper will be cheaper to tax and insure, be much more fuel efficient and a 9.1 second 0-60 isn't bad.
Is a Cooper S really that much better?
the cooper s is a blast to drive, but only when you drive it hard. my gf has a cooper s (2014 i think) and the motherfucker is fun to drive on windy roads. The non-s is a guttless turd
>>14710079
>9.1 seconds to 60
>fast
My fucking sides
>>14710079
Cooper S. Always.
Or when F56 the Cooper D and SD. Dat torque...
>he doesn't own a 100 decibel car
These posts get stupider with every iteration. Great job of keeping up a trend.
>tfw your gf leaves you for a guy with a louder car

Hi guys, i'm engineer and coming to usa. What's the best manual saloon under 6-7k ? Coupes count too. ( rwd will be better though )
What do you mean saloon?
I'm curious. Does searching "saloon" on google image search in the UK bring up something completely different?
>>14709752
>>14709735
you know what i mean guys. Sedan basically.
When are we gonna have a /o/ Canada meet up so we can go out for a rip in the sticks and grab some timmies with the baiz
>Hey , can I have a plain bagel toasted with butter and a peach juice?
>Some Asian bitch "Make it a combo and and a donut?"
>me : No, just the bagel and drink is fine.
>lady: 2:75 second window please
>>14709675
my fetish is sticking a 40 pack of timbits up my cars exhaust pipes

April 27 there's a track day at Cayuga and we've got some people coming already, you're welcome to join. 4pm - 8:30 pm, 140$.
You are a well connected mid-level drug dealer making ~$100k annual salary.
What is your DD?
>inb4 'frosty edition' corvette

Someone from the drug mafia scene was bomb'd in Berlin recently. Drove a silver VW Passat.
would you rather have a 550 or a manual 430? why?
550 because of Need for Speed High Stakes
550 because better looking and comfier travelling while carrying the exact same Ferrari prestige, except in the eyes of boyracers.
Considering purchasing one. Pros and Cons?
Do you actually hate driving?
>>14709246
No. I don't know much about cars. I own a 1997 Nissan Altima GXE that was a handme down so I'm just asking what's decent and economic.
>>14709246
Why wouldn't you have an economical daily to save fuel and a avoid shitting up your weekend car by dailying it?
>4 wheel drive
>handles nicely for a suv
>amc i6 best i6
>easily modifiable
is there anything else as good as a pre 21st century grand cherokee
transmission shit the bed at 95k in my grand cherokee laredo. i6 has a gasket leak somewhere that i noticed last time i went to change the oil that i can't be bothered with.
pretty good otherwise but its garaged and only comes out for snow duty these days.
i would like to not die in a fire
>>14709478
Then make sure the batteries are good in the smoke detectors in the basement. Or you could stop regurgitating /o/ memes and hit the trails. Maybe learn a thing or two about vehicles while you are at it skippy.
PREFILTER
Yay or nay, pros and cons, experiences?
General discussion, but if you want to know what application I'd use it for, it would be primarily for street use in a desert environment with light track use.
Desert? Sand / shitskindust?
Yeah go for it. A prefilter wont hurt anything but an incredibly small pocket in performance and your wallet while increasing reliability.
tldr less performance more reliability.
>>14709199
I'm not offroading, or driving into sandstorms as much as I want to re-live Madmax fantasies, but yeah, more dust than say Finland.
That's a really good point, since cone filters add 0-2 hp gain at best, and lose hp at worst, you're saying adding a sock would restrict airflow but little enough to actually do anything, and if I'm able to prolong the filter's life then great.
Just hits the wallet in a dumb way I guess.
I've seen them one a few cars but I thought they were for display only? You leave these on while driving then?
Guys, holy shit, this guy's giving away a free Ferrari.
