why no hydraulic drive train in road vehicles?
If all the cars were hydrolic, there would have enough water left for us.
Because with any measurable speed, there's absolutely no torque. This is the reason why even earthmoving equipment that requires any sort of force combined with speed utilizes either direct drive or diesel over electric drive.

There is also a shitload of heat produced and hydraulic drives dont like to roll
Is Maserati the most underrated company of all time?
It's just Italian Jaguar, so yea.

Did the ending of Furious 7 cause you to cry? Simple yes or no. Truthful answers appreciated. You're anonymous, no judgement.

This guy is like Doug Demuro-AIDS tier. The Carl Cuck of car "reviewers".
Hey, can anyone tell me which car this is?
Vauxhall Corsa.
I'd go with, "1925 Ford Model T" if I was guessing. Early Fords only came in black, so that's always a good hint if you see a black car from prior to 1930.
Opel GT
Hi /o/, /k/ here. I'm in need of an exhaust system for a 370z that is quiet and professional at idle, but gets it at high RPMs. My client is particular, you guys might be able to help.
Spare me the bullshit, I wrench for a living.
You're a faggot, shoot yourself in your piece of shit car.

>Spare me the bullshit, I wrench for a living.

Your client sounds like a raging faggot if all he cares about in an aftermarket exhaust is how it sounds...
Apparently CV axles are becoming more affordable to replace, yet the repair shop still charges $250 per axle.
Does anybody care to explain that logic? The parts are cheap, but the labor is still unnecessarily expensive.
May as well do the job myself.
>>14735116
I had mine done for 125 in labor.
>>14735116
then do it yourself numb nuts
>>14735134
But what if I don't put the axles back on correctly?
What if I forget to torque the axle nuts?
No "how will a Porsche 944 do as a first car" thread? Jesus, what's wrong with you today /o/?
So, on the purely hypothetical possibility that I am totally and undeniably in love with the 944 and will totally buy one as a first car, what should I look out for?
Also, mandatory /comfy/ pic, every 944 or Porsche-related thread demands one of these :3
Talk me out of it /o/
I just bought my first car and was looking for an already working project car. This thing looks like pure sex. I don't even mind the wheels. If it's as well maintained as he says, would it be a good deal?

Do you like hanging out with your friends?
Just kidding, you have no friends. But if you did you wouldn't see them much with a 944 as your first car.
Get something reliable first, then buy one.
Love,
A 944 owner
I've never made one of these, but I'm making it because I'm curious about Honda Super Cubs/Passports/etc
Now that I'm done with MX-5's, it's time for me to get some other small thing that's enjoyable to putt about in.

Could one of these fit in a Subaru Outback Wagon? If not, would it be reasonably easy to put one on a bike rack and carry it around?

Alright /o/ I've got a 92 k1500 that refuses to run when it rains and for a bit after too. I've tried covering it with a tarp before it rains and this doesn't really help unless I go out and periodically start the truck. I've also tried putting a towel over the battery before its going to rain, but that didn't do anything either. So the situation now is that it's rained all day and I have to get to work in the morning.
How can I get it to start?
Why is it not starting when it rains?
What happens when you turn the key, does it crank and not start or not crank at all?
>>14734310
it sounds like its about normally starting, but doesn't fully start so I guess that means its cranking. it will just keep making that sound if i keep the key turned
>>14734333
Some kind of short with the fuel or spark, could be fuel pump, a coil, list goes on. I think your truck is TBI IIRC so it could also be the MAP sensor or temp sensor. Going to be a tough problem to diagnose yourself.
I'm picking up a 5th gen Celica tomorrow.
Tell me how much of an idiot I am.
I don't know about non-turbo versions, but a friend owned a GT-Four version for a year or so. His mechanic that he takes all his sports cars to requested he sell the car. Mainly because the engine bay is so fucking cramped and near z32 300zx levels of hard.

These things are truly like a poor man's NSX and they don't drive that bad either. Why is it that you don't hear more about these? What is /o/'s opinion of them? As an added bonus, they even have kawaii pop up miata lights
Nobody talks about them because they're only great when they work. Which is 10% of the time
Also, the MR2 is the poor mans nsx.
