wouldnt a tire that wide cause serious tramlining and scrubbing?
Oh wait "bent barrel with my camber" eh performance is a moot point if its just stance, Honestly i dont know why he bothered to buy R888's when any set of cheap chinese tires would do. youre going to wear them out in a few months by riding on the side/shoulder.

Is this a bad deal?
I'm willing to wrench if necessary but I don't know a whole lot about Audis. Are they as expensive to maintain as BMW/Benz?
Yeah they're expensive to maintain. Nearby shop to me quoted me $1600 in parts/labor to do my timing belt, water pump, thermostat, idler, and tensioner. This was the best quote that I got within 100 miles of me. That's about half of the car's current blue book value.
>>14728856
That's a bretty gud deal actually. It ain't any cheaper with a jap car to do all that.
>>14728435
its a fancy VW
it is not remotely in the same class as bmw or mb

nothing questionable about that one son, 80s as fuck, awesome as fuck
everything since the 90s has been a mistake
What do you think about french cars?
There are 3 brands : Peugeot, Renault, Citroën.
Renault is god teir
>Alpine
>5 turbo
>Twingo
I think they all have shit tier reliability. Would never buy one of them.
They usually look good, though.
>tfw you never know which ride will be her last
I know that feel anon
>>14726857
you should use oil stabilizer and fuel injection cleaner(the ones you add in the gas tank) on high milage cars.
>>14726913
What do they do
>let mom drove car today
>comes back with this
>"no, i didn't hit anything"
>>14737237
kill ur mom
sweet blog post fagit die
>>14737237
you mom probably told her black boyfriend she didn't want to see him anymore and he slashed the tire.
but seriously
2016
letting a woman borrow your car
>>14737237
it breaks my heart when people let other people use their car
the seat will be out of line, the mirrors, she'll have turned on the headlights thinking it was the radio volume, she'll have forced a CD into the player when there's one already in there and broke it..
My son, who is a senior in high school, came out as gay last night so I let him know that when he turns 18, he can either move out or start paying me rent.
I've decided to spend his university tuition to treat myself to a new toy. Does /o/ have any ideas on what kind of nice car I can buy for myself? I have about 80k saved up.
Pic possibly related
>son is gay
buy him a mini or a smart forfour
Were you surprised to find out that your wife's son is gay?
>>14738038
>came out as gay last night
Like father like son, amirite?
Why can't we be more like the Germans?
Half of the Companies in your pic arent really even American
>>14737855
They can never be as good as the Germans dude, it's impossible!
>>14737855
Wait till school get out in the states this thread gonna blow up
What does /o/ think about the first gen Ford Probe? One popped up for sale at a local lot, and I'm considering trading my wagon for it
>wrongwheeldrive
>turbo
>5 speed
>7.1s 0-60
>better mpgs than I'm getting now
>>14737425
those are stats from the factory picure a fat white bitch ruining the trans engine and susspension for 25 years then trading it in on a bronco to a used car lot
its now turbo nearly dead
4 1/2 speed
9.2s 0-60
better mpgs cuz the engine only uses 1/4 fuel
>>14737475
This is accurate. Stay away, OP.
>>14737475
Good point, though it only has 136K and most fat white bitches around here only drive trucks because muh suthurn hurtage
What's /o/'s take on the new Honda Civic? The EX-T seems pretty cheap and halfway decent. It's only a couple grand more than the Fiat 500 too.
Why is there no Si by the way? Am I missing something? Honda's website doesn't seem to list one.
>>14737107
The new Si isn't out yet.
As to the new Civic, avoid all cars except the base model L versions with the 6 speed manual.
The CVT transmissions aren't proven yet and given the history of CVT', stay VERY far away from any car with a CVT
>>14737107
I haven't given Civic's (or Hondas in general) any real thought in about 7-8 years, they look ugly (subjective) and seem to have been coasting on reputation for almost a decade.
>>14737127
Is it possible to order a civic with the turbo engine and the manual transmission?
Anything in particular bad with the CVT that wouldn't be covered by a warranty?
Thinking of trading my 2014 GT in for an STi, but ive heard the subbie motors are glass.
I need something that can handle Ohio winters.
The ringlands blow because people floor them from low rpm
Don't drive like an idiot and put a lot of stress on the engine and you'll be fine
>>14736972
Some people reported ringland failure at 3500 miles.... and Subaru fought to honor the warranty.
>>14736979
Can you post a link on this? Never heard this.
Ok so I'm thinking about buying a 2014 dodge charger fully loaded good idea or bad idea.
Auto or manual?
>>14736420
Not a bad idea, just make sure its an 8 speed if its a V6, makes it a load better. What model you looking at?
>>14736435
Probably automatic I never learned to drive manual
Other cars like the 940/740/960/760
>RWD
>Turbo
>Easy to maintain, fun to mod
>look beautiful
>Box
>Winter driver
85 Mustang SVO
>>14736386

>driving my nice car through kinda bad neighborhood back in december
>rear end lady @ 12 mph because pack of basketball americans decide to cross the road in front of ~45 mph traffic
>my first at-fault collision
>lady gets out, is pretty calm about it, we wait for cops
>get ticket for following too closely, later got it reduced to a parking ticket and ~$200 in fines

When it rains, it pours.

Y tho. This shit has had me up all night and it doesn't even involve me at this point. I can't remember a time when I was this enraged.
Here's the paragraph from the email:
At this time, the claim is still in negotiations. The last demand that their attorney made was in the amount of $100,000.00. The last offer that GEICO made to settle the claim was for an amount of $13,703.00.

Should have known you were fucked from the point you rear ended a woman.
