What would /o/ want me to do to my 924? I am planning a audi 1.8t swap and im welding my diff this weekend , all suspension was swapped out for a 924s-t and 944 parts already
why dont you just restore it and do meme shit with an S chassis or miata
>>14750501
i bought it for 900$ running and drove it home, i really dont see the appeal of restoring it. i would rather use that money to have fun with the car. I would restore any 911 derivative in a heartbeat though.
I heard there was a meet in Calgary. Did I miss out meeting the butcher?
Prove me wrong /o/
Wrong, he's not a real true enthusiast like me
He's married to a feminazi, has zero friends and no legacy.
Rather be middle class and really handsome desu.
Getting pussy is better than buying it.

Practice backing up before you put the car on.
Will it be equipped with working brakes, is your tow vehicle noticably heavier than the loaded trailer, are you able to slow down without hectic braking, will you choose a sensible tow speed? You'll be fine.
None of you watch your mirrors on corners
Hey /o/ here soon I'm going to be buying a nice mostly garage kept car to go out on the weekends with. Is the stock non-rurbo Supra worth the money? Or would I be better off just saving for a little longer and buying a GTE?
I own an is300 and I like the engine, so that's another reason why I'm really tempted to buy one.
>>14748740
>non-rurbo
The fact that you have to ask.
>>14748740
buy the GTE itll be worth it in the long run
I just don't think the twin turbo engine is worth an extra $20,000. It seems every turbo one is lik3 $50,000 plus and the non turbo's are in the 20's. Can't you just switch out the intake and head and have basically the same engine? Or would this just not even be worth it?
I have a Citroen Jumpy (also called Citroen Dispatch in other countries and it's basically the same car as the Fiat Scudo and Peugeot Expert).
I had it parked in my front garden for a about a month without using it. A couple of days ago I tried to turn it on and it won't start. Nothing happens, except for all the warning lights on the dashboard burning red and the fuel lamp making a ticking noise.
Anyone got an idea what's going on? I don't think I left anything on for the battery to get drained. I did leave a rear-view camera in the lighter...

Battery is as flat as a japs face M8. The camera draws very little power but over a month it's enough to flatten it.
>>14748735
Thanks for your reply!
I thought it might be the battery. But all the other warning lights are on as well? That's freaking me out. I feel like I killed my car.
Do I jumpstart it now or what?
By the way, I know absolutely nothing about cars (as you might have figured out yourself).

Any reason why Michigan became the hub for auto manufacturing? Centrally located in the country in the early 1900s? Politicians sucking Henry Fords cock?
Are engine rebuilds worth it on high km cars? Does it restore the car to its original horse power?
Engine rebuilds don't happen because you're refreshing the life of the engine. They happen to address some other service need that's so deep on an engine and or has very high miles. Seals, piston, rod, that sort of things
>>14748650
yes, it's more of a 'while you're in there' type of thing.
Since you have the engine open you may as well go ahead and replace some things

Fucking Texas, I've been thinking about buying a light bar to mount above my third brake light in the rear window.
>>14748625
that is illegal, son
I changed my oil myself today like you guys told me to.
Everything seemed to go fine. However, when I started the car again after I was done, I heard this loud clanking/knocking sound from the engine for a few seconds.
is that normal or did I fuck up?
>>14748187
Probably your timing chain slapping around before the oil pressure built up.

Poor, poor /o/. When will you understand that cars are obsolete? If you had any self respect, /dbt/ would basically be the only thread on this board. The autonomous automobile is upon you and cannot be stopped; gaze instead and worship the last bastion of vehicular freedom.

If I had any self respect I wouldn't drive a shitbox Chrysler at two in the morning blasting Eurobeat through a tape deck aux jack converter. Where do you think you are?
>tfw you spent countless nights working on your project
>tfw you take it on the first drive and you realize it was the build you enjoyed and not the final product

My dad likes to build RC airplanes. 90% of people that mess around with them just buy and fly. I think he's like you though, he spends a lot of money and time building and painting them. Then he flies it once and once he knows it works, he just hangs it up in the garage. I think we have like a hundred there, and he's only been in the hobby for a couple of years.
>>14747964
Yeah its a disease man. I quite literally built the whole front of this car from the ground up because it was a in a wreck. I'm talking, welded in new frame, tubing, bumper supports, radiator mounts, etc. Then I took apart the wiring harness and removed unused wires. I spent so much time with this car I knew it inside and out, and driving it bored me.

I live in Ohio. So I bought a car from a dude in PA. He signed the title.
He gave me the title. I towed the car home.
How the fuck do I get this PA title in my name. He signed it and I have the car at my house.
I have a friend whose a notary, will he be of any help?
Tell me I'm not fucked.
Now go to the DMV in Ohio with signed title.
