I know the GLK350 is like a love level merc and the one i'm driving is a base model but how every feels and how its laid out inside is great. Also rides great while not feeling boring. I was looking at a 2017 WRX but riding in the Merc makes...

Best look elsewhere, son. Don't be retarded and just get the WRX. The new ones are a lot nicer on the inside than the old ones anyway.

How do people that own exotic cars always have weird state plates, like Wyoming and shit? I assume its a tax dodging thing.
I have moved to Florida and my out of state plates have expired, but registration and insurance is expensive here. How do i get some weird state plates? I think FL cops turn a blind eye to out of state plates since they don't want to harass tourist which are a large part of the economy.
Probably because they have homes there, too. So, yes, tax evasion.

Just start an LLC
>>14762462
You can form an LLC in Montana for around $1000. a company there can set you up with a PO box, a 'business' bank account, and register your rig in Montana.
You get insurance through your LLC/business. Technically your Montana registered business owns the car so you avoid state sales tax/registration fees. Unless you are buying a boat/RV/high end vehicle it usually isn't worth it to jump through all the hoops.
I was looking into doing it, but Washington state has a use tax they try to...

I've just gone and bought a Subaru Outback 3.0 VDC from a lesbian couple in the Dallas area. $1800, 220k miles. A slight bit of rust because they live in Colorado 4 months out of the year.
My question is this - it smells kinda like poontang in here, especially in the back hatch carpet and the driver's seat. Is there an easy way to eliminate this smell?
lick it

You're a special kind of faggot
I'd pay money to have that smell as a air freshener.
What do you think about this car? It is the Rally Fighter from Local Motors.
Completely obsolete compared to the Tesla Model 3 godmachine

It looks awesome but if it was truly open source it would be cheaper than that.

NEW Piston skirt coatings promise significant reduction in engine friction. The piston skirt and pin account for about 17 percent of the frictional loss in a combustion engine, two new-generation coatings that are claimed to reduce this friction by up to 15 percent .

>>14762295
Why do we keep improving outdated mechanics?
Can't we just move on from combustion engines yet?
Now that's a aftermarket thing I can get behind.
This should allow for higher revs, no?
Engineers have attempted to overcome the friction losses at the skirt and pin by optimizing the geometry of the piston's clearances and, more recently, by utilizing advanced coatings on the cylinder wall and piston skirt. Each advance has meant improvements in engine longevity, fuel economy, and power output. Federal-Mogul Powertrains says that its latest EcoTough coatings for gasoline and diesel engines take this a step further, reducing skirt wear in a gasoline engine by up to 40 percent compared to today's market standard.
The coating is a metal oxide-reinforced...

How well does /o/ save up for the cars they want?
Currently working a 9/hr job making ~1k per month. If everything goes well, I should have enough for the car I want by the end of the year. I've almost caved multiple times on cheaper cars I've seen on Craigslist, but I've stayed strong and forced myself to keep saving up.

I'm 19 so it's definitely enough for my age.
I pay my insurance and gas, but nothing else, and am able to save up the majority of my checks because of it.
Wish I had a full time job already though, so jealous of people who make thousands per week.
/o/ I am looking to move out soon and looking to purchase or lease a new car. What are some cars you would recommend ? Looking for something fairly cheap in the 16 to 25 grand range.

Chevrolet Cobalt
Does anyone know how the Chevrolet cobalt performs and is there any pros and cons of it or any other equal cars I should look at instead!.
gofundme com/cobaltss
Don't buy this car man. It's an abortion. Chevrolet is my favorite brand but just get a Camaro please. If you want a car like this don't get an American one. The Cobalt SS and Neon SRT-4 are black sheep. The import/tuner guys won't want you because it has an American badge and the muscle car guys won't either because it's trying to be a faggy import
>>14761689
They perform very well OP, the ecotec engines are some great 4 bangers and respond well to mods/tunes, what year are you looking at?

In a couple hours I'm headed to my local Fiat dealership and buying a 500 Abarth.
Am I making a mistake? I've spent the last month deliberating between the Fiesta ST, Golf GTI, Kia Forte5 SX, Toyobaru, Civic Si, and the Abarth. I've test driven all of them, and I found the Abarth to be the most fun, the most responsive, and just generally suited me the best.
I don't know if I'm gonna hate myself in a month. Please, talk me out of it if I'm making a mistake.
