Generally here England the manual had dominance though automatic is becoming ever increasingly popular, mainly thanks to audi/BMW/mercades brands becoming ever more popular.

There is a certain "normalization of risk" to the point where people being hit by cars is being treated as a regular everyday occurrence. We need to change that.
Once drivers become accustomed to the changes, lower speeds would become the norm. New standards would reinforce the idea in drivers' minds...

Can ams are targeted at boomers who can't balance a bike or disabled riders. They are quote the specialty.
