Why are dodge trucks so much more inferior to Toyota and ford trucks? If they aren't, why?
dodge appeals to cuckholds. they think they're manly and will disguise their cuck nature.
as such dodge/chrysler don't put any effort into their construction.
>make masculine looking vehicle
>advertise nothing but the motor
>hemi this v8 that
dodge may not make a great product but it knows how to market
American market Toyota trucks are the biggest garbage you can find. Half ton is the ONLY model, the frames wobble and snap, weak engines, list goes on.

>vehicular manslaughter
Why the FUCK does this pattern exist?
Champ, you usually have to get past the lockout to achieve reverse. In older VWs, you push down, then over...

Because people aren't illiterate retards like you, OP
>>14818518
How would you shift into R accidentally? I have that shift pattern, never happened, not even close. R requires more force and moving it a lot more sideways.

Toyota actually made a version with a different front end. e Toyota Curren.

Earlier version.
If you had unlimited ressources to put any engine in any chassis, what would you build?
I would couchbuild a 60's Italian GT with an RB26 engine. Without the turbos tho. Yes, it won't make a whole lot of power but that's not the point of a GT, is it? It would look and sound brillant. It would be something new but not "unethical", I mean the RB26 is handbuilt.
>N/A rb
>not a stroked rb34
you had one job OP

You are so right, my god.
Mid engine supercharhed s54 powered Fulvia coupe

If it gets there before the car breaks down
The owner needs excuses not to raise the starting wage.
post race cars in their exact form (no changes made to them) that you want to daily drive
>cost of repairs exceed value of car.
>repair car anyways
Cost of getting another shitbox with unknown problems might be greater.

mfw $400 car

I bought a $600 96 Taurus out of desperation.
It had 120K miles.
Now its edging close to 300K miles, and spent at least $4,000 in overall maintainance, fixing oil leaks, freze plugs, transmission, but everthing in it is fixable.
Car is fucking 20 years old.

Yup. Also a pile of shit.

The 4 door is a sweet 16 car. The 2 door is a classic off-roader and not emasculating at all. Just don't get a cute spare-tire cover.

Hey guys I just got my first car and mommy and daddy said I can use the garage to work on my car.
What are the must have tools for a home mechanic? I already have a few shop manuals for my car and a basic ratchet/socket set and a chord less drill.
>buy a mig welder?
>body work tools?
>engine hoist?
>a jack and axle stands?
What do you guys have in your tool collection and what would you like to add?
A lift is pretty helpful
>>14813319
>>engine hoist?
If you're going to be working on the engine or swapping it, you'll want an engine/tranny jack to help lift it out straight and hold it in place when putting it back in.
>>14813319
>engine hoist?
>first car
If you were capable of making use of an engine hoist you wouldnt need to ask us

http://blog.caranddriver.com/its-last-call-for-the-manual-transmission-bmw-m5/
why are manuals being phased out in performance cars for DCT's and other slushboxes? are car makers so divorced from reality that facts go out the window?
I could understand for the typical consumer who doesn't give a fuck about performance or being connected with the car will be more attracted to AT, but why must the enthusiasts be punished?
Manual has been superior in performance so it does not make any sense to me that they would only offer them in DCT and other...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
BMW better not phase out manuals for the 228i as I have almost enough to buy it next year without taking out a loan.
Like it or not they aren't selling.
honestly? people are afraid of stalling in traffic and being embarrassed. that's it, most other justifications crop up around that fear.
if there was some way to guarantee you can't still in a manual, like some kind of electric assist motor to get you going from a stop as you engage first gear, people would be much more for it.
it's becoming almost impossible learn to drive stick, not everyone has friends that know how, nobody rents stick shift cars, test driving a car from a dealership is something most avoid etc. etc.
