Good music videos for car shows?
Hey /o/, I'm going to be entering my car in a show for the first time in a few weeks. It has an in-dash navigation system that can play videos and I'd like to gather up a playlist of car related music videos that I could have playing for a bit during the show. I'll probably just have the volume on fairly low and turn it up a bit for the judging process. I mostly just want the added visual touch when people stroll by to look at the car.
What are your suggestions?
>>14852422
Does the music need to play in sync with the video? It might not be the best to play source music from a video file in an audio competition.
Just put on Furious 7 or something, I'm sure you'll attract a crowd.
>>14852441
True, but it's a totally stock 'Shaker 500' sound system so I'm not expecting any miracles.
I can't believe I didn't think of putting any Fast videos in though.. this is practically a cringe requirement
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuJDhFRDx9M
I guess alternatively I could just have a playlist of mustang crashes, given the current state of things.

>On September 29, 2012 California Governor Jerry Brown signed laws regulating Buy Here Pay Here dealerships. The dealers will now be required to display the true fair market value on each buy here pay here vehicle and also provide better options in making payments outside the dealership. The dealer must also provide a 1000-mile 30-day warranty.

Why can't I find a used FRS/BRZ under 5k? I would think all the retarded boyracers would have given up their no-torque car by now and it'd be easy pickings
I tried to offer someone 5k for their 40k mile BRZ and they fucking hung up on me

No OP, I believe you're the retard to think you can get a FRS/BRZ for under 5k without it being destroyed
I would hang up on you too, OP. Just cause boi racers find out it has no balls doesn't make it worth 5000 dollars. Buy a 240sx you dumbass, OP. Also that's not a frs/brz in your pic.

Some people think they are gods gift to the world ...
In my experience you will have a much better time dealing with and negotiating with a person who prices their car reasonably.
I wouldnt waste time with something thats overpriced x 2. The owner is probably an idiot.
Some people dont do any research on prices or they look on craigslist for the highest listing for their car and then price theirs as such. People...

What should I get for my first car? Im still a teenager and im gonna be using it for my daily to school and work. I have 6k right now and I want a quick and fast car plus something I can work and learn on I really like German cars like bmw's or VW but also like Japanese cars like Subaru's or Acura's. I was also thinking about a Nissan or miata.

say what you want, but it takes BALLS to produce a car like this
Yeah, like three of 'em
and even bigger ones to actually drive it on a daily basis
So, I'm in the market for a 4-door salon, with about 10k euros to spend..
Car must meet the following criteria :
>fwd, manual
>2.0L max displacement ( 2.4 for a really good engine ) Petrol ( no diesel )
>reliability
>confort
>decent economy ( about 10-11l/100 km city is adequate )
I don't really care about performance, since I mostly do city driving.
What would you pick , to meet these...

Why the fuck fwd and why petrol if you want an econobox?
An Audi A4 B8/B7 would be decent.
>>14852488
Fwd because the gubment forgets to clean the snow off the road. Most rwd are in deep shit in winter.
Petrol because I do alot of city driving

Absolute bollocks.
How long can we keep it up? Surely there will be a point where we can't beat the time. Even now manufacturers like McLaren are hiding their times because they don't beat X or Y by a second or two.
Having a sub 6 minute time is impossible, isn't it?
>>14851558
Formula 1 cars could prob do sub 6 minutes if it didn't fall apart by the end, but autonomous Google cars won't be fast around it.
>>14851558
Probably a sub 6 min will be done by a thing like this.

BMW engineers estimated a 5:15 minute lap time for the BMW Sauber F1 if it had completed the lap.
With a budget of 15k, 5k for the car 10k for any engine bay/body modifications what would you buy and do to make something you'd be proud to drive every day in Australia.

Hey /o/ I'm looking into buying a gasless MIG welder to start doing some basic welding with instruction from some family. Would it be worth buying and expensive one straight away or would I be okay/better off to buy a cheaper one, like a 65-100amp $199 (ausfag) welder?
Or should I just add on the extra hundred and step up to welders of the lower average price? I honestly don't want to go into the $399-$550 range if I don't have to because I don't think I will be using it enough to warrant the money.
>>14850949
Pic related is a cheapshit welder I can get, it goes on sale for $200 tomorrow.
What does /o/ think?
Gasless welders suck shit, what thickness are you welding 100amp isnt much. Welding gets fun at 200 amps
>>14850954
I guess I'd be practising by patching little bits of rust on the family shitboxes.
I have read that gasless welders welds aren't as good. But how aren't as good are we talking here?
What year is this cayenne? Looks like bullshit to me..
It doesn't look like a cayenne, and there isn't a year listed in the add...is this too good to be true?
