Guy I went to college with had a v6 mustang with Flowmaster. He always said he would beat my truck in a race. Even though I had a truck.
Who are the worst car drivers and why is it Mustang owners?
Seat and Skoda, not so much. But VW and Audi drivers like to pretend they and their shitboxes are important. Honorable mention to BMW drivers, but mostly those that drive leased SUVs and ///Ms.

Anyone been screwed by a used car dealer? Stories?
>I refuse to talk to a dealer now. My dealer-cherry has been popped. Also, anyone from the middle-east to india are basically lying about everything and pushy as fuck. Why is this so? I'm not being racist.
>>14859176
were they a christian dealer? or the very least a Caucasian or Vietnamese dealer? Chinks have always treated me well.
i bought my first car from a used car dealership.. still have it.. great car, never had any problems with it
Hey, look everyone!
It's the guy who ised LPG's picture!
He made a new thread!
Let's all give him a hard time about it anyway!
What's everyone's opinion on a v6 mustang?
I can't afford the best but I want something that can go fast and cut through lanes. There are some good used 2011-2013 v6 mustangs that I have found for less than $15k which seem good and I can afford but idk if I will be satisfied.
I used to drive a 2009 Chevy cobalt until it was totaled in the Texas hailstorm.
Will I see an increase in performance going from a cobalt to a mustang?
Also should I shoot for a v6 premium?
>>14857816
>go fast and cut through lanes
Why are you looking at a mustang then?
>>14857816
I can't tell you about mustangs. But I drive a 2015 V6 charger. I prefer it over the V8 because it's a DD, and 300 hp is more than enough when I want to give it the beans. Pretty much anyone on here who's going to give you shit on getting good the V6 are basement dwellers who drive $1 shit boxes or bus riders. If you want it, go for it man. You don't "need" a V8 to be happy withour the car
>>14857853
Are you saying a mustang is incapable of performing such task?
So I fucked up a replaced my Nissan 300zx original muffler to some red neck truck type shit, and now I want to kill myself(because it sounds so bad). I need some good recommended mufflers that have like a jdm type sound to it.

Can a landlord stop you from working on your car on the property you rent? There's nothing in my lease that says I can't. She claims for environmental reasons, but restricts any mechanical work, not just oil changes. This is my only productive hobby and I'm fucking mad as hell she would try to take it from me.
Bitch also threw out my jack stands and oil can.
>>14861727
No, if it's not on the lease she can't tell you shit. And if she threw your shit out, best believe she is going to replace it.
That happened to me when I lived in Wyoming, they said I got transmission fluid everywhere in the driveway (which was dirt) and I wasn't getting my deposit back (this was when I had no plans to move out, smart time to tell a tenant). Later I found the landlord inside my house one day unannounced. When I moved I left the old engine/trans from my Nova that I swapped out in the driveway sitting on the bed, had a bunch of friends help me carry it up, was a second story apartment.

And I'm sure you totally have pictures of this right?
Why is a million dollar hybrid beetle slower than a mass produced datsun with a few bolt ons and a tune?
>>14861676
Why is it slower than an italo-american abomination built by some fat fucks in their free time with no quality control?
Because austrians cant build cars for shit, last time they made something good it was still on stolen tatra designs

How come a Dodge with a truck engine beats them both?

Has anyone ever converted a rwd car to fwd?
I think it would be funny to convert a car such a crappy old skyline r33 and enter it in burnout competitions to confuse the fuck out of people and annoy bogans..
Would you just need a GT-R gearbox and remove the tail shaft or would you get a GTS4 to make it easier...
If you chose a GT-R people would just think it has a broken tail shaft when doing fwd burnouts...
However many people are retarded and are unaware that skyline gts4s are a thing that exists...

You Aussies really put a lot of effort into finding new ways to shit post.
FWD vs RWD aside, why the actual fuck would you ever want to do this? For burnout competitions? What the fuck?
What the fucj is this bogan shit you're spitting
56mpg?? Are they telling the truth or bullshitting?
>CRX
>5k redline
Poor burgers.
Why did the japs never give you their proper engines in the 80s/90s?
>>14859114
the way it was rated at the time, yes they were telling the truth. Small cars with limited ethanol/methanol in the fuel, decent compression and a really lean burn did get pretty good.
the 84 S12 turbo 1.8 was rated a like 40 highway.
>>14859120
the HF was a fuel economy version of the car and had stupidly long gearing (70mph can be done in 2nd gear)
>>14859125
forgot to mention that everything else about the gen1 HF sucked : it had torsion springs, negligible damping, almost no suspension travel and bottomed out all the time (even in 45mph lane changes). It was a single purpose car : commuting while using less fuel than competitors. What amazes me is the US models never got the back seats.
ITT: People who don't deserve their car.
>>14861437
i'm of the opinion that if they bought the car with their own hard earned money, they can do whatever the fuck they want with it.
are those few removeable cardboard pieces really that bad, OP?
>>14861460
Well no, but they have sort of missed the point
Why are there no RWD cars that can get decent gas mileage? Even smaller 4 cylinder engines can't get more than 30mpg, is it an inherent flaw in RWD design?
More places for power loss, grow a pair and go v8, turbo 6 if you can afford it

This is it. Fuck everything else in my life. I'm about to have a 90k/year job and I stopped caring about everything thing in life. No real friends, kissless virgin (because of social retardation), never going to be millionaire, don't want any kids so now I just want to work and race.
I am 23 and although I am not a mechanic, I really want to get into racing. I don't care living in a shitty apartment as long as I have a bed and fridge. I'll blow all my money on racing, I should be able to live on less than 10k a year and put 80k into racing.
