>Get call from Ford Dealership
>2 Alotments for Focus RS
>Fully Loaded
>"Only 42K before markup!"
>5K markup
>47k for a focus before taxes, etc
Ford fucked up royally
Who in their right mind would buy a 50k focus with an 18k interior.
You could buy a fully loaded mustang gt for less than that and it'll be nicer on the inside
the dealer is being a dumbass you dumbass
but some dumbass dumber than your ass will buy that rs you dumbass
I feel like when a brand has something they know will be successful but doesn't want it to be they mark up the prices to make it fail and go, "well we tried, back to focusing on mustangs!"

yeah that's way too much. I would pay near the same amount I paid for my sti maybe a grand higher, but that's it.
Why do people feel it's necessary to own a large truck when they work at an 8-5 office job and use it as their commuter vehicle?
Some people just like how comfortable a truck is.
I know a few people who are too tall to drive anything else.
I would agree, a eco shitbox would be a better option.

The actual final thread unless it goes by quicker than expected again.
Quick Summary: Gotta wrap up loose ends before leaving town.

It's obvious you're not welcome out here, you'll say what you want and split, no use and sticking around so she can talk more shit.
"Wanted to let you know I was leavin' town soon so you won't have to worry about me botherin' you anymore. Goodbye Erika."

Of course the car takes care to remind you that it's 10 years old like the however old 1 you worked on before. A few bolts hinder progress but the savior WD-40 comes to your rescue, even then this might take a little longer than expected. There's still no reason you won't have it done in time unless you run into a brick wall.
1 snack break, a few swears, a knuckle busting here and there, and most of the afternoon gives your Volvo 2 working headlights, 2 working turn signals, 1 red, but not banged...

[C], drive back in the Tri-Five
I want to drive extremely fast on an actual road in the US. What are my options?
Post on /o/ about it and trigger Krauts who will spam MUH AUTOBAHN despite never getting their 1.2l shitboxes above 80 on it
>>14907789
>not having Autobahn
Budget for the fine.
Indoor or outdoor cats?
>tfw moved back in with parents
>tfw convinced dad to give up garage spot for me and park outside himself because I have to get out far earlier in the morning and need to be absolutely on time for work and can't be scraping ice all winter
>tfw never going to move into a place without a garage especially now that I'm about to buy a vintage daily driver
>>14903167
i just let my cat go anywhere.
>>14903167
I let my cat outside during the day and crack my garage door open about a foot, and let him inside the garage and close it at night. Makes sure no one flattens the fella and coyotes cant get him
How bulletproof is your engine, /o/?
7mgte with properly torqued metal gasket, running about 320 to the wheels right now on stock
I hope it doesn't explode soon ;_;
>>14901147
Extremely. Multijets are probably the most reliable diesel engines in the market.
stock smog 360 LA engine
pretty bulletproof I'd say
Why is v8 LITERALLY THE BEST ENGINE CONFIG, ALL OTHERS ARE PURE SHIT
In terms of reliability, v8's are the pinnacle of reliability due to them requiring the engine to turn the least amount to spin the wheels, while also having 2 or 4 cylinders less than a v10/12 and thus less that can potentially go wrong.
In terms of raw torque figures, once again the perfectly balanced engine provides maximum power, while not weighing too much so as to prohibit the effects. No turbo 6cyl can compete with the torque and HP figures of a v8, which can weigh as much as a 6cyl....

Where all the fuel economy at?
Inb4 someone posts some ridiculously large displacement V8 with laughable power figures.
ayy
Fordcucks are on suicide watch.

The truth has been spoken.
>R33 ass>R32 ass>R31 ass>R35 ass>R34 ass
Is performance or appearance more important to you?
High speed performance depends on appearance to some degree or jet planes wouldn't all look the same. That said, I'd rather drive an Opel Corsa B with a V12 than a Porsche with a threebanger.
appearance only matters if it's something VERY unappealing to me like a multipla or PR cruiser
fun to drive quickly > power statistics > appearance
looks
I grew out of muh performance when I was 17 or 18 its a really childish thing
Rank the German car companies in order from most to least reliable.
BMW
Mercedes-Benz
Porsche
VW
Audi

All I can say is I dumped my Audi S5 after finally getting fed up with the maintenance. Fun car when it worked though...
What's the fastest speed you've ever driven?
83 mph
Literally 55mph
Recorded 150mph but maybe faster in another car.
/o/, school me on the pajero
I drive a 2005 lwb np gls.
It has the super select transfer case. You can choose between rear wheel drive, 33/67 split 4wd, 4wd locked centre diff, 4wd low locked centre diff.
It has a built in ladder frame which mitsubishi claims to increase resistance to flexing and torsion. This is also the reason why the pajero is so light and has a really low centre of gravity compared to it's body on frame competition. Additional bonus of increased safety.
It has full independent suspension which is pretty shit for rock climbing, but increases both on road and off road handling...

What's /o/'s thoughts on the Yeepiat RenegadeX?
It has good reviews, I'm looking at the 6 speed manual version.
>>14902389
costs too much when optioned to be a proper off roader
might as well get a Wrangler
>>14902389
>FCA
It has a tendency to be rather.. unreliable.
>>14902399
But the Wrangler still costs substantially more.
Plus having a compact car is nice for my condo.
Is there a name for this (removed windshield on convertibles)?
I think it makes my dick hard. More pics if you guys can find them.
Is this legal on the road if you wear a helmet?
Depends on your state. Perfectly legal in az with DOT rated eye protection
speedster?
That is sex
