Should I buy an amc pacer
Probably not

Yes. Than swap in a turbo rotary
That's a kawaii ute right there

The thing looks ugly as shit anyways, can't compete with the FD.
Seriously considering buying one of these in the next week or 2. Or a GS430. What is /o/s opinion on these?
Wait until 1991 is 25 years ago and import a TT Aristo instead.

Wrong hand drive on your local road network, whatever it may be, is one of the shittiest fucking things you can do in motoring.

Believing it isn't going to happen is what's delusional. They have already declared there must be many more electric cars by 2020.
Anyone selling cars in California will need to make a fraction of their income from electric vehicles
>tfw you get done detailing your car from wash to wax
Feels so fucking good man. What car related things did you do this weekend br/o/thers?
>I tried detailing, doing the polishing
>I failed at it
>scared to try again
>>14868054
Don't be scared anon. In reality, it is all trial and error. How exactly did you mess up?
For me, this was my second time and I did it in better weather and with proper tools and clean rags. It came out gorgeous, restored the blue coloring by a lot. The first time I did it, I fucked up bad and considered just shelling out shekels and getting a professional to do it.
Then I realised, you can be come the professional. Keep practicing anon
>>14868084
>How exactly did you mess up?
By not seeing any sort of result, other than holograms. The polish seems to have sprayed around (in dry dust) far more than I've seen anyone else doing polishing.
I have a second, more junkier car now on which I will try again. Still, scared, but I will try.
Looking to get my first car.
I want something somewhat fun to drive, mainly interested in hatchbacks, but a 2 door coupes are also an option.
The focus svt seemed perfect but I don't know if I should get it as there seem to be very few where I live and I don't know how hard it is to fix.
There are no civics si and I would like to avoid anything vw due to bad past experiences.

How's the Renault Clio sport? Saw one the other day for 3k, looked ok.
No cobalts in my cunt sadly.
How good are the seat Ibiza and leon?
I have a choice between fixing up AE86, patching up all my rust (This may require me to remove the fiberglass overfenders and installing Wolf Steel panels), full engine rebuild, the works.
or to cut my losses and get a Toyobaru.
Before you romantisize the AE86, actually put yourself in my shoes.
I've contemplated selling my weebcar many times but everytime I drive it, I change my mind.
>>14867969
Why not both?
Or sell the AE86 to me and use the proceeds on the Toyobaru.
>>14867985
I want both but I can't let my AE86 rot, money needs to be put in for general maintenance aswell like resealing the quarter windows, new sunroof gasket, new brake pads, new tires, ect.
it also has sentimental value but at the same time the Toyobaru won't be giving me any headaches anytime soon and I can actually road trip it.

It's like a Zach Snyder designed sticker.
It's about unplanned pregnancy

It's just a slogan for a certain sticker deliverer.
I really want to finance a car. I have perfect credit, but I'm 19 (turning 20 in 2 months). My insurance rates for any of the cars I want range from 220-300$ which is way too much considering I pay like $80 for liability currently. The highest I'd go for is probably $160... When did your insurance rates go down?
Side note: I'm not on my parents insurance
I've been in 2 accidents where I was hit and not at fault.
Any insurance br/o/'s or any advice for me?
>>14867343
I wanna say it goes down a tad every year but you won't really see it drop off until your 25 I think.
>>14867343
You're a teenager looking at newer cars. Of course it's going to be high. Go with geico and stop looking at cars from 2007 and if you want cheap insurance
>>14867357
So essentially, there's no hope for me anytime soon? One guy in my class drives a brand new STi and he told me he pays 120$ a month for insurance and he's 21 and has State Farm. I don't get it ... He also said he's by himself on his insurance

Hello /o/
I've been looking into a first car, budget is fairly flexible but trying to keep it under $40k. I need something that's super comfy with a soft ride, fairly easy for my handicapped ass to get in and out of with minimal assistance, and won't hurt my butt or back for long periods of time.
I've been looking at entry-level luxury cars, including...

Buy a new Type R and become /o/'s envy for a bit

I originally suggested just having my dad give me his Camry, but he's fucked that car up with so much improper care over the years. Plus, I have a difficult time getting in and out.
Yea, my parents are buying the car, and they refuse to buy anything used. I'd love to get a Panther or some old land barge and save them money, but they're insisting I get a new car.

How much does this madafaka cost in Europe?
>>14866197

I'll go for one of the worst countries tax-wise: The Netherlands.
A base model E200 is 50k here.
So I've been driving a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM for almost 9 years. I think it's time to get a new car.
Problem is I'm getting mixed advice from family, friends and coworkers. Some say I should lease a new car, others say I should buy a new car and pay it monthly, and some have said to buy an older car but certified.
I would prefer to have a new car only because it's nice to have the most up to date things but I don't like the idea of leasing, I prefer owning.
At the same time I don't want to spend too much money either so I don't...
