Hi /o/!
I am your local friendly car salesman. I work for one of the top manufacturers in the industry. Doesn't matter which, I am here to offer assistance/ advice and answer questions that anybody might have about leasing or purchasing from a dealership, new or used.

How are you faggots so terrible with your money? You should never buy anything. You should just save your money until you're 100 years old and then still save it cause who knows you might need for an emergency
>pic related
is the STI just a meme? Is it worth the extra shekels? The WRX has the new FA20 which has a better powerband than the EJ (which the STIs still have), plus you have to deal with the stiffer suspension while commuting. Is it actually worth?
Depends, do you want the best or just something fun? If you want the best, STi. If you want something fun, WRX is enough.

How's your day been?
Of all things an iq? would prob be a fun runabout.
Did you buy a second one for the other foot?
>>14986737
Did you really buy that piece of shit?

My days OK.

>other car I have doesn't have A/C
Balls
Why are most (not all obviously) police sedans capped at ~300-400hp? I mean, now that we have beasts like the hellcat, why don't they throw 6-700 horsepower, 170mph+ beasts under those hoods to keep up with sports cars and supercharged vehicles? Is it not worth at least keeping visual on some suspects? Safety concerns?
Pic not entirely related.
You see anon, real-life ain't like Need For Speed. Police forces dont need a Lamborghini Jota Concept to catch up and then ram the subject until fiery death or submission. They have helicopters with fuel tanks that last more than 50 seconds (a la Most Wanted) and spike strips that wont be put in just one of the lanes (looking at you again, Rockport PD). If all else fails, a roadblock will either stop you or kill you.
No need for 600HP unicorns that will break down every two patrol days.
>giving cops more reason to beat the piss out of police cruisers
Because you can't outrun a chopper and the radio
Is this a good toolset for the money?
http://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/sockets-ratchets/professional-301-piece-mechanics-tool-kit-45951.html
It would be like $150 with all the discounts ands hit.
>>14986613
do yourself a favor and buy Craftsman.
may not be top tier quality, but their hand tools all have unconditional lifetime warrantees.
and they mean unconditional. since all hand tools by them have the warrantee, you need no paperwork on hand, and you can even intentionally break them with improper use
>>14986613
>Harbor Freight
At least buy one of their Pittsburg Pro ratchets to go with it. The ones with the green handles. And never try to use anything too hard or it will fail.

Which tool set exactly
A few days ago I was complaining about how my insurance company low balled me to the tune of $4000 for my 05 G35 when it got totalled. I forwarded them receipts and the fair market value of the vehicle which was $8-9k
They said the value was simply too high, and renegotiated to the tune of 5k which is obviously below the threshold. Some anons gave me some helpful advice, to contact and attorney and file a complaint with the financial insurance ombudsman and I did just that --- well I mostly threatened them with legal action.
And today they called me back willing...

Happy for you OP, have some ass.

>muh aftermarket parts
>muh rice value
If you had any sense whatsoever you would've taken off your "valuable" parts before it was ever assessed by the insurance company in the first place.
>>14986530
In Canada if you have receipts/invoices the insurance company MUST factor that into the settlement offer. Anything that's not regular maintenance that is.
Show me an engine that sounds better than an American V8.

About to buy a new car, how do I haggle prices, how do I jew the stealership into giving me optional extras for free?
>>14986086
insult their mother and challenge them to penis fencing
E-mail every dealership in a 100 miles radius asking them for their best no bullshit walk out the door cash price on exactly what you want
Take the best offer to your local dealer and demand they beat it.
>>14986086
ddepends on your purchase power, if youre young with the minimum down and barely qualified for financing you don't have much room, if you have 25% or more down or better yet are buying cash, you have a bunch of wiggle room.
>tfw you got a shitty torqueless honda civic at an inflated ricetax price

How rare is this car?
>>14985685
Just an imported Nissan, no reason you can't buy one and import it.
>>14985685
its a riced S30 with an ugly convertible conversion that you can buy
not very
>those clear rear lights
they still make aftermarket rear lights for them?
How low do you think I can talk this guy down for his STI?
Lists a bunch of shit that possibly cannot make it $17000 + lien title.
Haha just buy an actually fun car, s2k, c5, 350z, m3, etc for that price.
>>14985679
It's gotta have a rear seat though, and I have trust issues with M3's
>>14985704
>STi
>Glass diff and transmission
>Prone to headgasket failure and cylinder 4 disintegration due to heat death because of unequal length headers
>Pain in the ass to replace something as simple as spark plugs
The M3 and STi are on par with reliability IMO.

He deleted the entry saying which toy; I know it was size medium.
thoughts on the Volvo c30? I'm thinking of getting one. daily driver, only driver.
>>14984995
They seem to get good reviews
Looks great, T5 engine pulls nicely and sounds fantastic, handles alright, quite comfy. Shares a bunch of parts with the Ford Focus, I believe.
It's kinda heavy though, which makes it slower than you'd expect with a turbocharged inline-5 engine under the hood, and it's not as practical as you might want from a sensible, Swedish hatchback.
>>14984995
The back looks pretty weird. I kinda like Volvos though because it's not
>American
>Japanese
>German
Swedish has a uniqueness factor which sort of appeals to me.
Do you wear headphones while driving?
I drive a motorcycle and listen to music all the time with them in.
Enjoy death
>>14984915
No, never.
I have worn headphones while riding but I stopped doing that all together. In order to hear the music over everything else, I had to turn the volume up quite a bit. It's not good for your hearing, and then you can't hear shit around you so it's a bad idea any way you look at it.
>>14984915
I tried. I have headphones that you plug in ear, not just put in ear, I don't know these names. Background can't be heard properly with a single headphone plugged so I gave up.
