Hey/o/, What is the most stoner car you can buy. I started thinking about it, and immediatly realized it is a complex question.
>Stoners tend to be slackers, thus broke.
So the car has to be cheap, or maybe should be affordable, probably used
>If you are smoking like a chimney every time you are driving, you want the thing to be low profile.
So it has to be a car that blends in
>If you are getting baked off your ass in far away zip codes you are probably going to spend...

80s Conversion Van
>Cheap
>Looks like a normal camper
>Paint it white and it'll look like a worktruck
>comfy AF
>room for all your niggas
>curtains over the windows
I'm actually thinking about buying one and modifying it a little and going on a trip with some friends in it.

Subaru. doesnt matter which model, preferably an Impreza variant.
>>14988799
An old vw bus also does it
I'm in the market for a new car. Currently driving a 11 Subaru Impreza OBS 5 Speed, and I've been wanting to move more into performance for cars. Ive grown a liking towards the MK4 GTIs, because they are respectively good cars, and quite cheap.
My budget is $6,000, and I have found quite a bit of well built GTIs (more so the 1.8's) for a great price..that would leave me with at least $1,000 to spend on more upgrades or repairs for the car.
As most know, the 1.8's are 4-cylinder 5 speeds with a turbo, and the VR 6 is 6 cylinder, usually 6 speed,...

LOL he bought a VW because he couldn't afford an Audi
Unless you like throwing away money to keep a 10-15 year old shitbox from breaking down (which will happen very often) or you like seeing your gauge cluster lit up like a Christmas tree at all times, don't bother with either.
I just got my rota grids on 17x9.5 and 17x9 and one of the front wheels is wobbling and bouncing/jumping when I'm driving it
You need to properly tighten it. Chances are the bore of the wheel and hub on your car are different
You need hubcentric rings
/thread
When I had rotas on my wrx I needed new lug nuts. You might need "tuner" lug nuts because the part that goes up against the wheel comes in different angles.
What wheels are these /o/ I know they're enkeis but what model?
>Subakeks

I'm a Subaru now too! I'm waiting for my vape and flat bill in the mail.

Anyone here familiar with 4L60e's? Whenever the torque converter goes into lockup, my RPMs sink like a rock and no matter how much gas I give the cunt I can't get it above about 1700 and you can hear how badly the engine is struggling by the deep exhaust note. However if I lightly tap the brake enough to engage the brake switch which unlocks the torque converter, my engine shoots up to 2500+ rpm and suddenly runs like a dream. Runs great in every gear until lockup occurs.
please send help

I would 100% but if I could afford a donor vehicle I wouldn't be in this mess
>>14988281
no I'm afraid I don't know what a commo is.
/o/ I have this 03 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that my grandpa gave me in november, but its in need of loads of work/repair and I simply don't have the money (college is expensive). Should I just get rid of it? Is it really worth much? If I were to sell it, what could I realistically get for it? What should I do here?
First time posting on /o/ btw
Also have more pics

>Should I just get rid of it?
Not yet.
Post more pics. Does it run?
>>14987933
It either needs a new alternator or a new battery, and has a new one of whichever is operable. I don't remember. One of the tires goes flat in 10 minutes of filling it, it had mice living in it and through the air system, smells like rat piss and shit.
>>14987928
did your grandpa exclusively drive behind gravel trucks or something? my 1993 Explorer has better paint than that
Alright so I fucked up br/o/s.
A couple weeks ago it flooded in Houston, TX 20inches over night.
I drove through high water in my girlfriends car trying to find higher ground as our street was getting worse.
The car stalled out of course, I didn't realize that the intake was from the ground up.
We got it fixed at a shop and continued our vacation.
Now heres the problem.
Apparently the car has begun to leak "lots of oil" -girlfriend. I told her to take it to a shop so they can check if the filter or plug was loose....

Lolheadgaskets
I like the way they look, and nearly bought one years ago.
>>14988004
why didnt you? I'm about to buy one despite everyone telling me it's horrible
Why the fuck are car windows shrinking and why are rear windows now the size of a miniature briefcase?
Why is every car trying to look like a singular "whoosh line"? And why is the front ceiling getting closer and closer to my head?
I'm only 6'1 and I feel too big for half of today's cars.
Do you get used to not being able to see shit out of your windows?
>>14987754
Cars are getting more boring to drive so they try to make it look exciting and "dynamic".
The small windows are the effect of pedestrian crash standards. They have to raise the hood to have clearance above the engine, this raises the beltline, creating small windows.
>>14987785
Did they make the roof struts larger? Every car seems to have much bigger blind spots now. Seems like why they all have back up cams now.
>>14987793
Yep and yep. Buy 80s and 90s cars while you can.
>tfw your asanti's cost more than some peoples entire cars
too bad you can't buy good taste
Are these some overpriced nigger wheels I've never heard of?
>>14987712
tfw im not so fucking poor that i can only afford those cheap plastic click togeather tiles as the floor for my garage
First accident
>Red light, second in line.

What are my chances of winning this?

Take pictures, call insurance, hopefully you got his. As long as you have the plate, if he is being difficult your insurance will work with you to make it right, especially because if he's not working with you he seems guilty.
If you didn't do anything besides drive kind of slow, he's in the wrong. He went into oncoming traffic. He hit you.
>>14987460
Nah he fucked up.
Is the LS400 a shitbox? they are everywhere and cheap but the 1uz-fe is a respectable platform, better than any other japanese engine at the same price.
