A small number of r33s and even fewer r32s and r34s are legal here in America.
>>14996431
Wouldn't they specify that it's a motorex or w/e car?
I mean, it could be a "grey" car where it's registered via the state, but still federally it's illegal.
Take everything I say as a grain of salt. I don't know too much about this.
>mfw my electric powered car blows your gas guzzler the fuck out
>>14995976
>he only cares about straight line speed
Enjoy your overpriced brick on rollerskates pal
drove one of these from 1999 to 2002
coming home from a movie and first gen Merc SLK goes by on the expressway. So I floor it and blow by it. we both end up stopped next to each other at a stop light. SLK driver was "what the hell is that?"
>>14996023
you had an EV1?
tell me more about it please
how was it to drive?
what did GM say to you when they took the car away to crush it?
Getting veloster as a graduation gift in 3 weeks
Looks nice but how does it perform?
shit
>>14995753
Terrible. It's a commuter appliance not sporty at all.
>>14995753
I shit you not, my wife's 86 year old grandmother has one. She loves it.
What info can you get with someones license plate?
bump my niggas
>>14995735
Vehicle info:
year, make, model, color, VIN etc.
Owner Info:
Name, address, sometimes DOB and Driver License Number.
also possible to find out if a lien is recorded, and insurance info.
And of course, you can find out if the vehicle is reported stolen, or wanted in connection with a crime or some other reason.
>>14995824
don't you have to have special access, i.e, a police computer for that?
I'm looking for a used non-boring commuter car for $5-7k. I've been looking at the 2004 C32 AMG because a supercharged V6 RWD sounds fun and it looks nice, but I'm sure there are better options. Not sure about high mileage MBs and the supercharged V6 is getting V8 MPGs. What is better for my purpose?
>>14994973
Infiniti G35s are nice.
>>14994973
you came to the wrong place dude
>>14994973
Also 05+ Legacy GTs are kewl
Quick what year is this

2016
COME ON ! It's 2016 !
Why are American manufacturers such garbage? Toyota and Honda are basically the brands America drives.
>implying
Sure, FCA and GM are shit, but Ford is GOAT.
>>14994646
This
Currently the only american maker that's making anything interesting
>>14994646
Don't feed the troll.
So sometime within the next 12 months I'm in the market for a new DD. Budget is under 50k, preferably close to 40. I'm a single dude in grad school so I don't particularly need back seats or a ton of cargo space, but obviously its a plus to have since this will be my only car. Right now I'm considering a used C7 Vette, used Cayman or a 3 series (my current DD).
>>14994429
>c7 vette
get a grand sport c6
>>14994429
Ford shelby gt350.
>>14994439

(I know pic is the GT350R, shut up)
/o/, what is the best car?
and when I say best I mean, best at just about everything. the most performance, reliability, and practicality. Exclude price as a factor.
Let's see if /o/ can come to a consensus.
>>14994402
Definitely not the corvette.
mustang
not even memeing, jack of all trades
>>14994402
/o/ will never come to a concencus and you are just encouraging shitposting, fuck off.
Ask a guy that's worked in NASCAR several years as an engineer anything!
Doing this because I'm bored and would like to spread more knowledge about it!
Do you like fondling manbutts?
>>14994178
Yeah, okay, like NASCAR would allow that.
>>14994174
will non-pushrods ever be introduced?
Did GM just not give a fuck when they designed the exterior?
>>14993726
Looks mint bro
get triggered
>>14993726
No, they obviously tried to make it look modern, but still similar to a first gen. The problem is they tried to hard and ended up with a hotwheels car. If they'd just toned down the styling a little bit it would look better.
Hi /o/! I started a thread yesterday, and nobody replied within around an hour, I got some late replies and I decided to just start a new one. I know you guys have some questions. I work for one of the top companies in the world. I will answer any questions people may have on how it all works, and how to not get fucked over.
>>14993556
Do you listen to your clients on the speakerphone when you go see your manager to "discuss deals"? Especially when people come in pairs and discuss a deal.
>>14993556
what good rates can i get on your mum?
>>14993566
No. Sounds like 80's movie type stuff
>>14993572
0% for up to 60 months with tier 1+ credit.
Halp /o/
So today I changed my front discs and pads. Also bled all 4 corners, but now there is very little pressure and the pedal does nothing until it hits the bottom.
I've got a 'one man bleed kit' thing, but I couldn't find a 10mm spanner, so I used a socket instead. This means I had to take the tube off the nipple after bleeding. then tighten it with the socket.
Does tightening the nipple without a tube full of brake fluid attached fuck up the whole thing?
You got air in the system bleed them again you tard
>>14993460
ok thanks ..
>>14993449
I did the same thing and have almost no brake. Been rising like this for a few weeks. Drive a Chevy cobalt ss for reference.

>>14993446
honestly it kind of freaked me out cause there was no sound and all of a sudden this car flashes past at 60+ mph and keeps accelerating. probably hit 100 by the time he got to the curved part, pic related.
