Mommy and daddy are buying me a car. Catch is they'd like to drive it as well, now that my dad's car is breaking down constantly and my mom's car had 2 transmission replacements in 90k miles. They were looking at the Kia Soul. What does /o/ think about it? Is it a boring shitbox? Does it have any redeeming qualities? Are there other cars that are somewhat similar and aren't anemic shitboxes? Budget is $25k.

So now that the age of 50s and 60s retro designs have passed, how long do you think it will be before we get 70s and 80s retro designs?
IMO, I think it won't be too much longer. I think the crazier designs are starting to bore customers and a lot of them are probably going to ask for simpler designs. That, alongside Gen Xrs getting older and fonder of the 70s, 80s and 90s I think will bring us back to boxy-style designs updated to be a little more modern but still retaining some simplicity.

thats the plan, the engine is just a 600cc with i think 35ish HP, but i want to squeeze as much as i can, or at least, enough to keep 70mph/120km on the highway...i know that the first mod to put the is the cams from a 127 fiat and it will start to run better, but i know for a fact that there is more to do with that little engine, i just need to found out what are the mods... i might try to go for the abarth body style with a radiator infront

Hello I recently found a small but on the inside of the rear tire. Kinda short on cash so was wondering if it would be okay to use a 225/60r/16 and a 235/60r/16 on it till I can get another. It's a crown victoria.
