What's wrong with scooters?
>>15005745
Outside of the USA, nothing
They are small, cheap, and have great fuel economy and are a very popular mode of transportation in Europe & Asia.
But in the USA if you ride one you will be called a faggot and gay.
>They're like fucking a fat chick XD
>>15005745
never understood the hate for scooters
seems useful, especially in the city where driving a full sized vehicle can be a pain in the ass and all the stop & go traffic can drink your fuel
I want to buy a BMW E34 525i Touring for shits and giggles purposes (lower it but big steelies on it, a roof rack, that kinds of stuff).
Why?
Because I dreamt I had one a week ago and it's stuck on my mind.
I live in Europe and I can go pick one up from Germany for ~1500 EUR (1700 USD).
Does anyone have experience with this car? What should I especially look out for when buying one? It's a BMW so it's mostly likely been thrashed at least a little at some point and it is old so...
Much appreciated.

In my opinion. We should restrict adverstisements on cars. Restrict teams to budgets of 100 million in development with a minimum entry budget of 50 million development.
Make the cars heavier by a few hundred pounds and remove wings everwhere.
Unlimited horsepower
No aero
135 section crossply tyres
>>15005523
No restrictions. At all. Imagine 4000hp 4cyls screaming down the track.
I drive a Mustang. I got a new job now and want a 2nd car since its a long commute. I make 120k, what car would you get?
>>15005409
Tdi Mk4 vw or a used model s.
Challenger Scat Pack. Comfy factor
neither
why bother with having two cars?
Alright Br/o/tards.
Im graduating college in 3 months (business and law degree) and figure i can spend up to 22k (thats my comfortable limit for a loan) for a "new" car to daily.
I have a simple list of requirements
-Daily reliability
-Easy maintenance
-At least 15mpg, higher the better, but anything is an improvement over my 14mpg in my v6 single cab.
-Decent performance; dont care about top speed or turning, just want something that can do 70mpg all day without screaming.
Oh and finally
-Built before 1975 and has a V8.
(assuming i can regear the rear end for better mpg and add PS/PB if it doesnt have it)
Here is a list of things i "like" but very open to suggestions and input.

And you get the idea.
Why would you ever want to DD any of those cars?
>>15005136
This is what I would get in your area in your budget. You don't want anything too modified because you don't know how reliable it'll be.

BTW, the 327 was better than the 350. It wasn't until the 1970's when the 350 finally overtook the 327 as the small block of choice.
>>15005136
Never daily drive a vintage car unless you're cool with just not showing up every other day, and waiting 10 minutes before driving anywhere.
Also, if you're looking for a vintage car, don't buy anything made after 1970. Almost anything you find has an engine gimped by regulations due to the gas shortage.

It's a fuckin beautiful car, it's pretty rare in Yurop and It'll still cost what i paid for it (maybe even more) if i'll want to sell it in a few years (even that i probably won't)
Justifying shit is for betas. I love my car, I dont need any other argument.
So I just got a job so I will be needing a car.
I was browsing CL and found this.
Will this car be good enough to get me to and form my job at the cheese sandwich factory?

Hey /o/, I could use your help. I was out hooning in the rain a little in my 2016 mazda3 when I understeered into some rocks like an idiot, and cracked the left side of the front bumper. Would I need to buy a whole new bumper, or could I just patch it up with a kit? If I patched it up, how would I paint it over? The car has pearl white paint and I know that's a pain in the ass to repair.
The car is leased btw, but I plan on buying it out at the end of the lease since I got a good deal on the residual... But I'm not 100% sure I'll end up buying it, so nigger-tier...

Don't attempt to repair it if you are going to put a claim in though.

What should I download if I want to hear rotary engines reving high and "haiai" voiceovers while eurobeat plays.
There's too many albums to screenshot but you get the idea
>>15004289
There's a few Eurobeat albums like that.
It's usually the ones labeled non-stop collection that have that, as well as the D Best Selection.

Is car lift necessary if you want to work on your car in your own garage, or is just mainly to make things easier? How much can youdo with just jack and stands?
You can do almost everything without a lift.
If you own a 911 then you almost need a lift though.
You can do literally everything with a jack and stands. A lift does make things a hell of a lot easier though. I have changed tramsmissions in a driveway with just a jack.
What's the best "amateur beginner's" lift?
Something portable, probably

What will be my next car? Looking for some lightweight below 1000 kgs with perfect handling, no electronic helpers and some decent speed ~5 sec 0-100 km/h
Things I got so far:
Lotus Elise/Exige: Perfectly matching my demands, but struggling with the support, also, how durable are those?
Gt86/BRZ: No, to heavy, just drifting.
Ginetta G40R: Not available here.
New Alpine (Vision 2016): might fit.
Ideas?
>>15003936
Is the Elise the only way, pic related.
MX5 / Fiat124Spider: Too mainstream, not at all purist
Caterham/Westfield: I want a car with roof.
Porsche: Just no. Too heavy and not worth the money.
Alfa 4C: Too expensive.
caterham? If I lived in eu that would be my go to, I just hope you dont want to dd it. Or do if you have thr balls and can do without a trunk lol.
>>15003981
