Why does a new BR-Z/86 cost as much as an Ecoboost mustang?
For it's performance and what it's offering... I feel like the toyobaru should cost $22k new.
Kys senpai
an ecoboost mustang here costs 38000 euro, base
a full specced BRZ here is 25000 euro
>>15163240
>full specced BRZ here is 25000 euro
The base barebone model is 30k here
>he doesn't have a cactus garden in his dashboard
>airbag
>stones
Great idea.
>>15161073
>stones
>a fucking cactus
>>15161073
Isn't that the basic concept behind Japanese air bags?
sup /o/, just got a tool chest to house all of my bullshit so it wouldnt keep ending up behind every corner of the garage
sooo post your tools n shit
>>15160648
Cool
I have the 7 drawer version of that box at work. It's nice.
>>15160772
yeah its a pretty good box for only $250. i didnt really want to spend 400-500 on a bigger chest
>>15160648
whyd you buy a husky for your house. should have just gotten harbor freight
What happened to you man, you used to be cool.
Why is it not cool anymore? It's pretty rare where I live and it's pretty good looking car still

Literally every Jorge and Manuel that had 6 grand from laying brick last year aND not paying taxes owns one in my area. They are literally everywhere and have 2 auto zone fart cans installed along with plastidipped wheels
Which is better?
The Lexus GS-F or Cadillac CTS-V.
>Both has monstrously powerful V8s
GS-F contains a naturally aspirated 5L V8 putting out 467 HP
CTS-V on the other hand contains a 6.2L SuperCharged V8 that's putting out 640 HP
Yes, the GSF is a second slower than the CTS-V.
>Both starts at a little over $83K
>Both are track and as well as luxury cars at the push of a button.
Which would you rather go for? and if can state reasons.

Nigga I saw that too. I was actually asking all your opinions.
How does this make you feel /o/?
Isn't the stance meme dying out yet? I legit thought it was on the way out.
>>15159194
Want to see it raced against a stanceshitted GT-R.
Also want to see the two actually racing, instead of comparing lap times like autists.
>>15159213
Please that piece of shit would just hit the nearest tree faster than gs400guy did
Worth the buy /o/? Clean title coming in Tuesday he says. Got him at 3300 dollars. What do you guys think?
>Coasting in neutral
But muh MPGs
>>15157820
coasting in neutral in a fuel injected car increases fuel injection
>here, let me waste all the momentum i've gained and let the engine carry itself like it's idling in my garage.
A fuel injected car coasting in gear is virtually not using fuel, any car in neutral ever is using fuel
>>15157834
>not shutting your engine off and coasting down hills
it's like you like wasting gas
what's the most satisfying shift, and why is it third into fourth?
>>15156794
>why is it third into fourth?
cause you're going faster
Nailing a heel-toe downshift from 3rd to 2nd.
>>15156794
Riding out first gear to redline followed by chirping the tires into second gear is the most satisfying shift.
Proof that Motor trend is clueless.
How much does this thing make at the wheels?
I'm guessing it's around 360-380.
I commented on that when I watched it
>>15155768
350 assuming 15% drivetrain loss
>>15155768
359 horsepower and 367 lb-ft according to a few tuners.
the SS needs the LT1
So it happened
I blew my race motor
Time to spend a fortune doing a B16 swap
or find someone with a d16 so I can get the ball rolling
>>15144827
>Time to spend a fortune doing a B16 swap
what did it have before it broke ?
>>15144852
D16a6
I was on borrowed time with the D16
I had over revved
skipped timing
cracked the water jacket
had an engine fire
this engine had been through hell and back
>tfw friends call you cheap for not using the AC to save gas
Why do backseat drivers who don't pay gas money complain the hardest?
How poor do you have to be to not use A/C?
Do you also turn your car off at stoplights to save $5 a month?
>turn off air conditioning, open windows
>increased drag burns gas
Do you bitch about friends wanting to drink your tap water, too? Make 'em pee outside to save water?
>>15158546
>le increased drag meme
Holy shit end yourself I don't open up the windows
When was the last time you gave your DD a nice soapy bath?
Be honest.
Three weeks ago. Haven't been able to wash it's been raining.
perhaps over 3 years ago
Its my 300$ shitbox im not going to ruin it
never
What does /o/ think of my first car it was 1800$ 132k miles clean title just passed smog but the transmission shifts a bit hard from P to DRIVE
Supercharged v6 Pontiac GTP 1998
Is that normal for the trans to jerk that way when I shift from park to drive on this type of car?
>>15158752
no its not. buy a manual its 2016 kid
I don't like stick for city driving to much stop and go gets annoying with stick
why do people building purpose build track cars buy shit like civics when things like miata and mr2 are in the same price range
im not saying dd, im saying a pure track race car
i dont get it
you dont feel the difference between rwd and fwd with only 180 hp
Things to consider when building a track car:
what class runs full fields at tracks near you
time/effort/money it takes to be competitive in the class
enjoyability of racing the class
It doesn't matter at all how fast or cool something is as a street car, has nothing to do with racing. That said I doubt there's anywhere in the world where a Civic or MR2 is a better option than a Miata for actual competitive racing.

You'd be wrong
