So /o/, Im 18 and Im financing my car for the first time.
Its a 2015 Hyundai Elantra with 46k on the engine. Its 12800 in total to pay off and my monthly payment is $220 for about 75 months.
I want to have really fucking good credit score when ive paid it off although, so how much more should i give on my payment?

2007 Hybrid with nearly 500k miles on it. It's due for yet another battery change and work which would amount to nearly $10k between a transmission rebuild, battery replacement, and a few other things.
I make $110k a year, credit isn't super good due to being foreclosed during the housing crisis (low-700s now).

Hey /o/. I'm thinking about buying a Miata again. I say again because I used to own an NA. It gave me loads of trouble mechanically and I ended up scrapping it when the head warped and the clutch blew out.
This time around I'm planning on buying an NC or NB.
I guess my question is, why do I always hear people on /o/ talk so much shit about NC Miatas? Is it because they're still too expensive for /o/ to afford therefore makes /o/ salty?
Are there any real reasons why the NC doesn't stack up well compared to NB or NA?

NC is great man, all miatas are. People just get mad that it's the heaviest miata and it has a lot of body roll stock. It's only like 2450 lbs. Makes 170 hp though
The aftermarket is good, there are lots of mods available, swaps as well. They look pretty good too imo.
NC is also probably the easiest miata to daily drive and probably the most comfortable.

If you get a 80mm adapter and port match the intake manifold now you're going to see gains if the runners are wide enough to accommodate the amount of air... there's a lot of variables.

Hey /o/, could use some help. Today while driving my car started thumping for a split second anytime I'd accelerate from a dead stop in 1st gear. Well about 10 minutes into that drive it started thumping horribly loud constantly at any speed. First thought was driveshaft so I took off the shifter boot and saw this bolt was completely popped out. Would that cause this? If so what's the best way to get it back in?
Car is a 1991 nissan 240sx.
Whatever its attached to is worn out, aka the nut at the end or the threading in what it goes through
Lots of vibration happens in that area, and as soon as something comes a little bit loose it'll wear out ten times as fast
First, inspect the whole shaft. Then rotate the shaft until that bolt is at the bottom, then tighten.
Your car is rear wheel drive so check the bearing supporting the driveshaft. you will have to jack up the rear of the car and look for it. same vibrating thing happened to me and thats because the rubber support has blown apart and the driveshaft flaps about under your car now. i speak with experience of this problem. very simple fix
