What does /o/ think are the best interior of /currently in production/ cars?
I'm not saying this is the best interior of (current year), because you and me both know it just isn't. Still, I love how it looks, the version with wood trim is even better. I'd love to drive one of these. Do any of you burgers have experience with the new Maxima?

That is nice.
Nah, never driven one.
What tyres does /o/ run? Just got these for my Subaru Justy

I run Firestone Affinity's in summer/fall and Blizzak's in the winter on my 08 Charger.
Alright, /o/ I need your help. I have a valve/cam that has been making angry clicking noises while the engine is running at certain speeds or under load, I suspect that something may have partially blocked the oil passage way to it. I want to know which oil additive should I use to help my engine out so I don't have to tear it apart.
I've already checked an the is plenty of oil in the engine.
>>15219814
Sugar atomizes at engine temperature and becomes a mild abrasive that will clean out engine grime and melt away once the engine is turned off.
You can try a solvent like seafoam. Marvel Mystery Oil or a motor flush.
just use washing powder
is Guy Martin an overrated sellout?

>mfw my beater truck is getting 9MPG
>>15219559
>Shitbox em2 vtec get 25mpgs most days
Vvt kicks in too low, lower than what its listed for. If i wanted these mpgs i should have got an rsx or integra.
>>15219568
I'd kill to get close to 20 in my k1500.
What kills me is i got this truck for so cheap and its so clean, but coming from a 99 corolla that got around 30s it hurts.
>tfw 40 mpg highway in a pretty fun cheap car
>From working class family
>Always aspire to owning an Aston Martin
>Work hard at school
>Become doctor
>On less than £30,000 a year in my first year
>Salary increases around £3,000 a year
A consultant told me all the doctors you see driving around supercars got them through inherited/family money. He drives a Ford Focus
This disillusion is physically painful

Just save some money every year and eventually you'll be able to afford it
I'm premed myself and doctors get paid much better here but I want a Koenigsegg so we're pretty much in the same boat
You'll get there soon enough.
Have faith.
The fact that you're posting on here means you're probably willing to forgo a chunk of your salary for a car. And that's fine. There's lots of other pointless shit that you could buy.
Equilibrium. Eventually the cost will hit your willingness to pay, and alakazam, you're driving home in one.
Waiting is just life. Have a plan, and follow it.

Yeah, I've definitely got to think longer term. Unfortunately my desire for a house trumps a supercar, so that'll take priority first. Maybe when I'm a consultant in 15 years with no mortgage
How well do you think a 350z would get around during winter with winters tires on it? I want to know how fucked my first winter is going to be.
Let me tell you

It's a sports car, buy a winter beater.
Yes
Maybe
No
We don't even know where you are, mate... there is a difference between a winter in Illinois and a winter in Alaska
>>15219158
You can afford a 350z but not a beater for the winter? get your prioritys straight man
can we have a suspension thread

/o/ What I need to know to buy a used (can't afford a new one) Porsche 911?
I've seen guys like you , they buy the rattiest 911 they can find and think they're King shit

aside from that theyr are top-tier reliable

Oh fuck off, do you even know which engines that affected?
Newtrip trash I swear...
Why is the myth of expensive exotic ownership out there?
I was a car meet today and a guy had a Ferrari 360. He has owned it for 7 years and I asked him how much it has cost to maintain. He has driven it 77k miles and DDs
He told me has done EVERYTHING to the car except the clutch which was twice. He does all maintenance fluids, wear parts, brakes and rotors and engine maintenance. He actually just changed the spark plugs on it. He told me it was $4,000 for a clutch job at a Ferrari dealer. That's cheaper than a fucking 911 Porsche clutch job.

This. Rob Ferrititiiritiitititirrttrrerrrtii even says his two 360's have issues. Like the fucking door locks breaking from a slight breeze.
My friend has a 2008 bmw 328xi that he just bought. When my friend got home, he took his foot of the brake and the car started drifting forward. He turned the car off and on and the car wouldn't go into gear. When in drive or reverse the car would rev but not engage and move forward. Icons showed up on the dash with a triangle with 4x4 inside , a gear with an exclamation point inside. Shifting gears will show them shifting on the screen but the transmission wont engage.
What is going on?
Get it to the dealership and get them to fix it, if not lawyer up.
When my friend got home, he took his foot of the brake and the car started drifting forward.
>This is normal. A car has slight pull when in gear.
He turned the car off and on and the car wouldn't go into gear.
>He didn't turn the car off in PARK. Shift to Park and try again.
When in drive or reverse the car would rev but not engage and move forward.

Anyone have any experience with them?
Are their forged rims good quality? They have a few designs i really like and i'm tossing up between getting a pair of these or some volks.
Can't seem to find much apart from the fact lots of people with supercars are using niche rims, so they can't be that bad.
niche has no quality control
thats' why they're cheap as fuck in comparison
also they sponsor everyone and hand out free wheels left and right and that's why it seems supercar guys have them
>>15218268
bullshit source faggot
>>15218268
Are they really that cheap? I haven't even gotten around to comparing pricing.
I'm more concerned with making sure they're good quality, as well as looking nice.
What is /o/'s opinion on Trans am's? Worth it or nah? Thinking about getting one but heard they are slow as fuck....

What does /o/ think of the 04-06 not-holden-monaro?
I used to work across the road from a performance mechanic and was out the front having a smoke when some guy picked up his up, drove about 5m out the driveway lost it and went headfirst into a tree, total write off. Top kek
>>15219280
They do attract a lot of dickheads, that's for sure
>>15219285
Same reason it's hard to find a good SS, they are all driven by dumbasses that floor then from cold fuck the engines right up
