I'm thinking about buying one of these. Less than $20,000 right off the showroom floor with everything included in pic related.
Th/o/ughts?
I thought scion was dead why are they still producing cars?

People here have said it is a shitty corolla. I think they look cool, a nice blue hatch. I'd test it first, see if you like it. It is a Toyota, so it'll be reliable, don't let memeposters here dissuade you from buying it if you like it. Sorry for longish post.

>double-wishbone rear suspension
>6 speed manual
>"shitty corolla"
More like proper Corolla
The bigger the truck. The bigger the dick.

Hello there Mr. keyboard warrior. Why dont ya come out of your moms basment and say that to my face.

What outcry have you uttered about my person, you oafish brute? I shall cordially remind you that I was the best scholar in my law class in Oxford, and I have been involved in several frivolous tea parties and courtroom disputes, and I have over 300 boxes of Earl Gray. I am proficient in the Simian school of diplomacy and I am the top linguist in my book club. Know that you resemble nothing in my eyes save for yet another uncultured mind. I will hasten your undisputed expiritation of the world with grace and finesse....

This. They aren't good. They're the best.

You can still lose if he is a rich important man and you are not. There was the case where I was the sole witness that stopped to be a witness. The rich man ran the red light. We were both turning left as there were two lanes for left turns. I was in the other left turn lane and the rich man was coming from my left, so he would have hit me first and with his weight and speed pushed me into the cars also turning left. However, I saw him and braked, thus patting myself on the back that day for being an alert driver...

I had something like that, but with no witnesses. Ended up losing because someone had to be in the wrong, and since he was going straight and I was turning, I was in the wrong

1990+ Toyota Supra vs Nissan Skyline Gtr r34 (both manual and as close to stock as possible).
Also, are either of these cars recommendable for a 19 year old as his first/second car or should I be looking at Miatas or the Toyta 86/Scion frs.
Parents want me to buy something along the lines of a modern Corolla or Golf (due to safety, airbags, reliability etc etc) but im buying with my own money so Im still keen on researching other options.
Thanks in advance guys!
>>15232384
thanks
I think you'll kill yourself faster in a supra so get that one.

Hey /o/ first time poster.
I got in a bit of a weird situation on my commute to work this morning, a woman in her car rolled down at the light, I guess her foot wasn't on the break... And ended up bumping right into me.
How would I go about being able to buff out the bruising in my car? I just bought it back in November. Any suggestions?

Should've had her insurance pay for it

Any clear coat get taken off?
Is Swift driving school worth it?
I'm 22 and only have a GED. Tired of working in factories with lazy ass people. I'm near broke paying off debts from my Dad stealing my identity and still live with the fucker. I just wanna get out. I read about Swift having a trucking school that is close to $0 up front and you get a job after driving trucks.
Is there any better company that has a similar driving school? I have maybe $225 left in my checking account to do something. Located in Virginia.
Trucking is shit.
Start at an electricians apprenticeship.
This is from their actual website, not some third-party spewing out misinformation.
https://www.tva.gov/Careers/Electrician-Apprentice-Program
>>15232264
What's the initial cost though? I also don't want to be a union cuck
>>15232277
To my knowledge there is no initial cost.
After testing, you move into apprenticeship 1 and they start you with that salary.
I'm on a GED too and am considering.
You're beat to hell as a trucker. Never home, long hours and low pay for how much effort you put into it.
It is a union thing though.
Alright, so my buddies and I are going on a road trip in 10 months, and already have an established budget, build supplies, etc.
I was wondering about the requirements of legally qualifying it as a Class A RV, for tax reasons, as well as the fact that we don't want to waste much time getting a CDL. We're pretty busy people.
I heard that all I need to do is install a working propane stove in it to qualify, but is this true?
>pic related
Pretty sure the CDL requirement is based on vehicle weight.
May only need a class B,should be easier.
One of your crew gets a class B,the rest keep being busy.
BUMP.
Also fuck you guys.
I have tons of money but no time.Eat a pound of cock, assholes.
Enjoy you trip, when you stop to pee, hand out in the garbage towns you stop at,there is vast untold beauty to be found everywhere, except for Louisiana, fuck that place, they will hate you just because you aint from round these parts.
>>15232080
From Louisiana. We plan on going to all of our birthplaces, plus some other places that bring nostalgia. We'll also take shifts driving. Thanks for the support, anon.
Also, we plan on bringing a literal "box o' knives" (like one of those big-ass rubbermaid tubs), a Barrett M82a1, Mossberg 590, Mosin Sniper, and a u-haul trailer.
also obligatory bump
You keep forgetting to change to the next gear or your car is broken.
for the torquez
>>15232026
You lose torque at red line.
So this guy is selling this car as is.
Tire is telling me he over-inflated the tire, did some burnouts.
Does it look bad?
stanced
>>15231961
In english, please?
>>15231961
It looks like a broken ball joint (the junction between the strut/steering knuckle and the lower control arm. Replace that and the fender and it might be good if the CV joint isn't fucked.
Post a picture of a single body part, we try to guess which car it belongs to.
Whoever gets it right first posts the next one.
Starting off with a relatively simple one. This was sold worldwide, so no one is left out.
>>15231835
It goes on a shitbox
Audi tail light.
>>15231846
Depends on what you consider a shitbox. So what is it?
I'm torn between the two, which one would you buy?
By the way, I live in downtown Toronto, Canada.
>>15231792
>downtown Toronto
Neither, because faggots will fuck your shit up for just existing in Toronto from what I hear
>>15231792
If were talking 5th-6th Gen Mustang GTs over a 370Z, Mustang all the way.
>Bigger aftermarket.
>5.0 is g8
>V8 exhaust notes are sex for the ears with a good setup.
Now if its V6. just get the 370Z. Still would pick a Vate Mustang.
>>15231792
Performance-wise, I feel like these two are both pretty equally matched. It's really a matter of how much storage space you'll need and if you like the styling of the 370z or the mustang better. It's really just muscle vs tuner personal preference in that regard. Good luck anon!
Are MTEC brakes rice? They do prevent rust and corrosion. But it is a 0.001kg weight penalty.
Honestly not bad for £14
http://www.mtecbrakes.com/special-edition-brake-disc-coating/gold-edition-2-discs.html
>>15231757
You know what also prevents rust and corrosion? Driving the vehicle and using the brakes.
>>15231821
>this prevents corrosion on the bell and edges of the disc
Try and be correct if you're going to pedantpost, youngling
Car dealers that haunt /o/ because fuck knows why, do you get pissed off when you tie balloons around your dealership and people steal them for shits and giggles?
Fuck you.
I always wonder if those balloons and shit really help their business? Always looks tacky to me. I've never been like "oh look I better go check out that dealership for my next car because they look so festive!"
>>15231760
They're like the thumbs on Craigslist. Everyone does it but no one knows why.
They just assumed because they saw other people doing it it must be working.
