hey guys.
Im looking at a used 2013 bmw 328i or 320i. is buying a used one with less than 40k miles good or bad? any other suggestions for a luxury car? price range would be max 25k
i am upgrading from my chevy impala which has 220k miles on it.
bmw haters and bmw lovers welcome.
I would say there should be minimal problems with it until it reaches about 5 or 6 years old. The previous owner/dealership should have taken care of any early problems that had developed.
I would look into a CPO though.
Alternatives are lexus is250/350, cadillac ats/cts, and the infinitis/acura (not sure what model numbers they use now)
The lexus would be more reliable, the cadillac drives better, and idk shit about infinitis
>>15445746
>2013
I would highly recommend dialing it back a few years to the E90 for muh driver feel; the F30 is a bloated, sloppy mess. If you just want luxury then look more towards a Lexus
>>15445781
Oh also get a post-facelift model if E90, they're a lot more reliable.
Why do terrorists use Toyotas?
>>15445451
They are reliable?
>>15445451
They also use fords, chevys, nissans, etc
>>15445451
Cheap and available. Any other answer is wrong.
>research car for months
>decide on a GTI

>get to dealership
>sorry anon someone put this car on hold we can't let you test drive or purchase
>sales lady looks up another GTI in inventory for me

For the reason of?
>>15445550
wasting sales peoples opportunities, tl;dr they are forcing op's hand by saying "fork over more money than the 1st guy by a few g's and we'll do it" otherwise they know the car is a hot sale and will sell in a reasonable time if they refuse OP right now if he wont pay up
its basic business brah you even try to buy a car b4?
>>15445374
Why do automatic even exists for particular use cars?

The Sir Peter Blake Continental GT
What do you think? Do you think the design ruined the car?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnJPA_YO6Vw
They could've created a marvellous custom paintjob covering the entire car, but instead they wasted the opportunity on a differently colored grille surround and a hood with a heart on it.
Its not any worse than these

so, this rubber thing on the front axle broke open on me...
how fucked is it? is it driveable?
>>15445271
>is it driveable?
Sure, until the bearings fall out :^)
>>15445271
Youll get sand and dirt into the CV joint, and it'll chew up the bearings
>>15445282
shit, whats the best way to seal it back up? does super glue hold well?
Stop me if this is a mistake. He has to drive out 1h30m to see me, so there is no "I'm not interested" after the test drive. I'm going to have to like it, and buy it.

This will be my DD. Should I do it?
>>15445132
Nothing is set in stone OP. If the seller isn't taking into consideration that you might say no then that is his problem. Especially if this is your first time driving an MR2 or any car new to you.
>>15445132
Decisions that you "have to make" are never the correct ones senpai.
>>15445132
If he's driving you need to pay for gas regardless of whether or not you buy the car.
>road signs depicting physically impossible predicaments
This is NOT okay
If you're trying to make any sort of argument, you should actually say something.
>>15444873
...What? How did you get that I was trying to make an argument? It's an observation.
the car has obviously spun out, hence the skidmarks cross each other
I know this is tied to a recent event, but I have a legitimate question that I assume this board can answer.
For those who don´t know, there was a terrorist attack in nice in which a truck was used to run over people for almost 2 kilometers. it was a Renault Midlum cargo truck for the record, and It doesn´t seem like it was modified in the slighlest for the attack
My question is, what choices regarding would have made the attack more effective? what kind of truck would have performed better? any kind of (realistic) modifications that would have changed this? I´m curious...

Go away Mehmet, I'm not telling you how to kill more babies with scary salt trucks.

>floor the fucker as you exit the yellow stripe lane
>immediately go on the fast lane

>>15444269
PS countries with speed limits on motorways need not apply
That means you, Anglos
kek
>no speed limit
If I'm in the mood for it. Though 220 is a bit slow.
Usually, though, my traveling speed is 160 or 180.
Hey /o/ I was thinking of buy this ae86 (ae85) Toyota corolla with the 4ac
http://augusta.craigslist.org/cto/5634625933.html
He says it doesnt like to start when warm though, only when cold, which Im pretty sure is the ignition coil in the distributor, which wouldnt be surprising as its 31 years old and a new distributor is only $160~. So should I pull the trigger on this? Id have to drive it as is 2 hours home.
Wat do
Jesus thats clean. I dont know about rust in that area but check on that. 3500 sounds good but try to get as low as you can.

I decided to make my motor-cycle licence since its way more convenient for me to use a bike rather than my car.
For my first bike i wanted to go with the Suzuki RF900R pic related
What are /o/'s experiences with this beauty?
>first bike
hope you get the 98HP version
its just your standard water-cooled, carbed Suzuki I4, it should be cheap and reliable.
>>15443961
I was actually planning on buying the 135 HP version.
But due to the laws here and due to my age I will have to drive it throttled to 48 HP anyways for the first 2 years.
>cheap and reliable
Thats what im looking for.
>>15443992
kek, may as well just buy a gs500, probably be more exciting than an rf900 that you can only turn the throttle 1/10th on.
