>>13818971
I don't have anything to ask, but nice purchase.
I just thought of a question actually... K20 head swap when?
>>13818971
Why not a Mazda 3?
>>13818994
Honestly I don't like how it looks. Plus i was looking for a fun DD and felt like Mazda 3 wouldn't give me as many lols.

Quick /o/! the local race club has stolen both your pride and your girlfriend!
Thankfully, The wise black janitor respects your passion and decides to give you a free car, the only problem is he only has cheap/old car.
Which car will you bring to the prestigious race club to bring back your honor as well as beating the cocky rich kid who mocks you all the way to the race track?
Hard mode: It must make you look like a complete underdog with no chance of winning

Junkyard owner dude again. I found this car in the back.

Okay so i have $30,000 willing to spend on a car,
I was thinking about 2008 m3, but unsure.
What does /o/ think i sure buy?
Has to be a sport car
pristine FD RX-7, then spend the rest on a good single turbo conversion and other upgrades
Toyota Tercel for $1000. Investing the rest in a solid MF.

So I traded my 2006 S2000 for a 2015 Fiesta ST.
I live in San Diego, so my nearest tarmac track is Riverside. My track friends are laughing at me for the trade, but I'm thinking they might stop laughing once they drive it....maybe.
This thread is devoted to cars that other people think aren't great, but you enjoy.
Let's see em, gents.
Guilty. Not trading my AW11 for one, though.
That'd be stupid.

>traded a ap2 s2000 for a fiesta ST
My closest friend drives a 2002 very similar to this, He swears by it, but when I'm behind the wheel it feels like more of a commodity collector vehicle than performance, regardless of the upgrades. He loves it though, and I love that he loves it.
Smooth, slotted, or dotted? Which is best?
>>13818737
drilled is cancer
slotted is ok in small doses
solid a best
Worn
In that order from road car to race car. Smooth provides adequate braking power for most cars and lasts the longest.

Is that connected by a second story to the rest of the house/mansion? Even so it looks a bit too well finished for me to be comfortable wrenching in it, pretty, but too much glass/rock flooring.

so /o/, tell me everything you know about car restoration.
i know i think it sucks a lot of time and money
and it kills motivation. a lot of people notice this. all my time and money goes away, then suddenly i hate that. so i do other things. its a cycle
>>13818362
It can be daunting. Having restored cars in various condition (from simple interior and paint refresh to full rotisserie frame offs) it is a very rewarding experience but not something you can fully plan and budget for. More often than not, it takes far longer and costs far more than expected. However, as I said above, restored cars are truly "built not bought" in the purest sense. Every time I take one of my restos for a ride, I get a huge sense of pride and accomplishment knowing I brought the decrepit...
