Which is what I've been saying for the past few months now, you either do your own fucking thing and host what you want to do or don't host. I'm going to be hosting in a month again but I'm doing it on my terms and on my general.

I live in Colorado and want a 4wd truck (maybe SUV). I have a few things I need it to do:
>haul street bikes to the race track
>haul dirt bikes to the trails
>go off road for fun and to access hiking trails
Jeeps are super overpriced here. Japanese mini trucks are also stupid expensive. Japanese SUVs are also relatively overpriced.
This leaves three options:
>full sized pickup, preferably a Ford or Dodge because solid front axleComment too long. Click here to view the full text.

An early 90s ford with a straight 6 isn't too big, reliable, and capable of fun.
(PS. I hate ford) can't believe I'm recommending one.
>>13845454
Dang ol ranger seems to be the best choice s10s of any year are trash
Stay away from cologne engines they tend to have problems
I got the 3.0 Vulcan in mine and it may be a little under powered but it does fine off-road also get the 5 speed the Mazda trannys are weak slush boxes
Also stay away from the carbaretted rangers they tend to be a pain too
>>13845467
What's wrong with Ford?
>>13845489
So, a 3.0L and which transmission? They have 5 speed manuals (Mazda mad them) and also 5 speed autos. I was really hoping to get a manual.
What car is this ?......my friend says it's a supra but I'm not convinced

Is there such thing as a bike that is like a car?
Kind of like what Richard Hammond drove but smaller and works better? With a trunk, windshield and things? With a fast top speed?
This is essentially what I want. A bike Porsche.
velomobiles, most of them look like garbage

Any of you /o/tists also into body modification? Any grinders or biohacker here?
Anyone find having a magnetic sense useful for working on cars? Anyone hacked their car doors to open to RFID?
I had a magnet implanted in my right and left index fingers because I was working as a mechanical engineering student and was shadowing someone do there was a lot of hands-on work with metals.
After about a year, the plating was eroded by my blood in my fingers, and they developed little pus pockets that I ended up cutting out with a pocket knife, some gin, and some gauze.

Those are way too expensive for what they are and they're all beat to shit. I'd rather be happy and have fun with the car I'm going to drive for the next 8 years or so
Post pics of your shitboxes at the pump
I don't tend to snap pictures while getting a fill. Why would you?

I don't understand this. White/black is the best colour scheme, lexus the best brand so, why does your car still look like poop sauce?
>>13844778
It's a popular thread on both Lexus and Infiniti forums, you must not love your car anon or don't find it worthy of a second glance

Why haven't you bought a Ford yet?
because the more there's shilling for a brand the less I want a car of that brand

I want to buy an Explorer!
It's a Ford. You know what they say Ford stands for, dontcha? Stands for 'Fix it again, Tony'. He he he.
Hey /o/. I see a lot of threads about trucks and 4x4's but they all primarily focus on fuckhuge fullsize trucks. I'm in the market for a new 4 wheel drive mini truck, like the toyota pickup, s10, hardbody, etc. My current daily/weekend warrior is a tired rusty nissan 720 that has taken every bit of abuse I've given it in the woods and still gets me 40+miles every week day. I need some opinions on the most reliable little 4x4 truck, I've heard really good things about the pickup/hilux but they tend to be more expensive and a lot of them are beat to shit where...

just take s10's and dakotas off of the list from the start. they wont take the abuse that you expect out of them after owning a nissan. the ranger is a great little truck, our 4x4 ranger work truck has 325k miles on the stock drivetrain, is overloaded daily and gets beat on pretty good without problems. the tacoma is probably the "best" but like you said, they are overpriced for what you are getting
>>13844530
They're pretty rare around where I live, even if I could find a 5 speed 4x4 I'd be in the same boat as the 720 with finding parts for it
What is the best RWD car for under $5k and why is it the Foxbody Mustang?
