what happend with the black ice meme?

Not a trucker, fortunately. It was the small bus, ambulance, and taxi licence.
Do you use your seatbelt?
Yeah, but my car only has lap belts so they probably won't do anything in the event of an accident.
Only on somewhat long highway trips. My left collar bone has been broken 3 times, and it healed at a 45 degree angle where the seat belt touches it. I've had a couple low speed accidents that weren't my fault where I wasn't wearing my seat belt. If I had been, the sudden stop would've probably broken my collar bone for the 4th time, and I'd have to have a steel plate put in.
Yes, but more or less because I don't want to give cops an extra reason to bother me.

Imagine a more comfy RX7 with a MOTHERFUCKING TRI ROTOR.
So what's the general consensus on these? I did some research out of boredom and am considering this (or an S5) when I sell my 370z in a few years. Looking for a fun, comfy car that isn't going to break down constantly for around 20k-ish
From what I put together:
>Not a numb shitbox like the equivalent 3 series and still comes in manual unlike the S class
>Reasonably comfy while still performing well
>Nice interior

Those are considerably more numb than the equivalent beemer. They're comfy enough, but go elsewhere if you're looking for any sort of fun.
>>13851211
I don't know, I've read multiple reviews in which it was specifically praised for not being numb like them
You looking to buy brand new or used?
If new get a v6 jaguar XE, if used get an f-type v8

Is there any car that depreciated quicker than the Lincoln Towncar?
At an original price close to $50,000 I can get one now for under $5,000 or even less.
Did everyone up and realize, "It really just is an uglier Crown Victoria that's marked up."
Or did the recession really kick em down?
I recently bought a Towncar. And it's the only car I can't get rid of as quick as anything else.
Even my wrecked v6 camaro sold quicker.
Are there any other cars that depreciated this fast? The Explorer family?

It became a very evil nasty thing to own a car/anything that radiated the kind of old money big luxury that this car had.

Not exactly a shitbox when released.

Hi /o/, first time poster here and I need some help.
I have a friend who is a lorry/truck/heavy vehicle driver and I want to buy a dashcam for him because he:
-never had one before
-always wanted to have one
-would be good for his "safety"
I looked around on amazon and have no idea at all which one would be good for him. Why would you need wi-fi or other stuff like that in a dashcam? How long do these things record on a 16-32-64gb sd card if the cam is (supposedly) 1080p?
Any specific recommendations or any brands to avoid?
Thanks in advance.
Bought a Vantrue R1 for just under $100 recently. It's very nice.
Look at its review. I would not recommend a cheaper camera.
Need to buy a memory cards on the side, and you can get a 32gb for $12

DOD LS460W
Wins tests all over, brilliant quality
They record ten hours total, and automatically deletes the oldest recording and keeps filming so you always have fresh film
>>13850850
10 hours?
Isn't that a bit too short? I thought these things are capable of recording 24 hours minimum.
My Volvo's distributor cap leaked oil all over the ignition control unit. I have to replace both.
That costs 1490.21.
Scrap value is $150.
Fuck.
Did you get that price quoted at a shop?
Those aren't the most difficult things to do yourself if you can pull the parts from a junkyard.
>owning a brick and not doing the work yourself
why?
You could have gotten a new ICU for about $20 from a junkyard or $40 shipped from someone on turbobricks.
Sell it to an enthusiast and get a civic bro.
>>13850753
This
If thats the value of your car in a scrapyard than I wouldn't think it too hard to find parts for it for much, much cheaper than 1490
Just recently got it into my head I want a Porsche Cayman. New. I know new is a cardinal sin but it is a gift to myself.
Now, can you tell me why I'm being dumb? I'm digging the mid engine rear wheel drive. The warranty on it is for 6 years. Which is why I'm buying new.
Also previous car was lancer evo. I did it up with the rice. I don't know what to do with a Cayman. Ideas?

/o/ I am so fucking pissed off at Firestone.
I had my tires replaced less than two weeks ago. Today I noticed that every one of my wheels were damaged. I was not the person to bring my car in so I am not sure if there was a damage waiver signed. I'm probably fucked but I am going to raise hell when I get off work today.
>tl;dr Tire shop destroyed my wheels and most likely wont do shit about it.

Here is my favorite. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DO THIS

I won these last weekend.
What did you accomplish?
Waste another weekend doing nothing of what I wanted and lamenting the fact.
i rode my bike in heavy rain and now my bike chain is making weird noises. what do?
I attempted drifting for the first time - in a car with a broken handbrake.
Turned out pretty well actually.
