This is my baby Marilyn shes a all original 85
Over the last 2 years of owning her I have some body/trim damage and some things that need to be redone on her thanks to a jealous ex GF's ex
So here is my question
I have about 10k to put into this car my primary concern is fixing cosmetic damage/rust a new vinyl and New Trans and Engine
The last step getting it media blasted
I'm knowledgeable about cars but is it worth it to invest my money into my baby or sell her and use the money as a whole to get a car that is already up to spec
any advice is appreciated
I wouldn't invest in cosmetic repairs. Unless you never plan on selling it, you'll never get that money back.
I would however invest in a better engine. Pretty much any small block chebby is a direct swap.

are you a nigger or a wetback?

Engine Wise I was thinking a 350 Chevy small block supercharged
So say you have a track car, which has 17" wheels on it, and would like to lower the final gear ratio easily, could you, in theory, put 16" wheels (provided they clear the brakes) on it with low profile tires to lower the final gearing, while reducing unsprung weight, while being able to easily swap back to normal wheels for driveability?
> tldr: pros/cons to putting smaller wheels with low profile tires on a track car provided they clear the brakes.
your actual speed will be lower than your speedo indicates
get a smaller final gear you fucking kukold
>>13886647
this would be on a track car, so those things wouldn't matter to me. Anything else?
If you want to lower the top speed, you have to raise the final gear ratio or decrease the tire circumference, not lower the final gear ratio.
What do we think about the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio?

I really want to like the Patriot, but I feel like it's just another soccer mom mobile. Can anyone on /o/ give some input about its capabilities?

Are there any RWB cars that aren't stanced?
Id like these knockoff GT2 kits more if they weren't all about gaudiness and rice.

Why aren't you an automotive journalist?
>Literally get paid to drive cars
>Actually get to formulate real opinions on every car instead of benchracing all day
>All you have to do is write
Seems like the perfect job for you guys. Why aren't any of you doing it?
Because auto journalists need to be Youtube entertainers nowadays.
I'm straight.

I wish I could but I don't have the "TV personality" nor the writing skills necessary to become one.

Ford supports terrorism!
I was at the dealership today and thought about how awesome it would be for a car that was actually small again. Like ford NA miata or something. It would be like a Fiesta coupe or something and use the ecoboost 4 cylinder. It'd be small and swift, but not chipping at Mustang sales with an intro price of $14k

The hell am I shilling?
I asked about a nonexistent car and if it will ever exist.
I posted a picture of an existing Ford vehicle because the vehicle I posted about, once again, does not exist.

How did Toyota dropped the ball so much with this one. They basically made the MR Miata.
And how is that a bad thing? The only ball they dropped was never building a 2ZZ version. Then again maybe it was for the better because it would've had to compete with the superior Elise otherwise.
>>13885255
meh, not every car needs to be a world beater. Sometimes it's cool just to have a light weight, mid-engined convertible for cheap. Want something better? Buy a boxter. It's stupid that people think every car needs to lap the hamburger in sub 8 seconds.
>>13885255
I outran this thing with a 75HP VW Polo with a short gearbox.
They truly are shit.
