>German and other European security officials accuse Russian media of launching what they call an "information war" against Germany. By twisting the truth in reports on Germany's migrant crisis, the officials say, Russia hopes to fuel popular angst, weaken voters' trust in Chancellor Angela Merkel, and feed divisions in the European Union so that it drops sanctions against Moscow.

>German and European officials say Russia's aim is two-fold: To exaggerate the problems the migrant crisis is causing Germany and to push Germany to relax its backing for European sanctions on Russia over Moscow's interference in Ukraine. While EU governments last month extended asset freezes and travel bans on Russians and Russian companies, there is less consensus on whether to prolong more far-reaching sanctions on Russia's banking, defence and energy sectors from July.

>Both sides agree on one point: relations between the two countries are at their lowest point since the early days of the Cold War.

Good article, image, and summary.

You can see how bilateral relations between the country are playing out in trade data.

http://atlas.media.mit.edu/en/profile/country/deu/
In spite of the weak ruble Germany is increasingly importing less from Russia. The data also shows how dependent Russia is on selling its raw resources and buying advanced German goods.
"Rapeugees" are nothing compared to the pain that sanctions can inflict. If Putin continues to act out Germany's economic complexity (and Russia's lack of economic complexity) implies that its capacity to inflict pain is enormous. Russia looks like a sub-Saharan African state.

But Merkel is doing that all by herself. Even when she lost the recent election she said that isn't going to stop her from continuing to flood her home with rapefugees.

>international conspiracy against dindu Angela

>there is less consensus on whether to prolong more far-reaching sanctions on Russia's banking, defence and energy sectors from July
And that'd be enough for them.

Russians can survive thru a lot and the gov acknowledges that. But can Europeans survive without Russian gas?

>But can Europeans survive without Russian gas?
Oil is a fungible commodity, you manlet-dick-riding fuck-tard. Russia has no power to raise the price in the EU.

>Oil
>Gas

Natural gas anon, you know what you use for heating? And yes they do have a monopoly on many former soviet nations.

>rapefugees

you certianly sound like someone worth listening to.

Also, do you have any stats to back up the argument those seeking to escape the turmoil in the middle east are more likely to commit sexual acts of violence compared to the population at large? or do you just "know" there is a difference from seeing a few articles about individual incidents and because of your ideas of immigrants being "bad."

Seriously, if you have a point make the fucking point and try to avoid sounding like an ill informed 12 year old.

Poland is trying to diversify, but I am unsure of how successful they are with that. However, there was (is?) supposed to be that undersea pipe that went straight to Germany, effectively fucking over the "former soviet nations".

Hey jew puppet what anti Trump convention are you going to attend today? Worst than an uniformed 12 is a 30yr old shill. USA and their puppeteers Israel are exposed now. And you can quote any zionist propaganda spewing link that it won't make any difference. Tbh I would side with any corrupt Russian than any jew owned American. Do your rallies have your own ppl stomping and spitting on your own flag. Then come back with some witty and crowd pleasing pun. Merkel, Cameron and the other puppets are being weeded out deal with it

So for a bunch of immigrants to be considered bad, the majority must be bad?

This is some top tier bait.

Having watch a fair bit of Russia's charming news offering in the UK, you would think Germany is drowning under an unstoppable tide of migrants. Every time its accompanied by sinister background music with scenes of migrants smashing fences or overrunning checkpoints. I can only imagine what Germany must be enjoying from their 'friends' in the east.

Merkel is devious

>Tell the police to cover up crimes
>Tell the world your enemies are making up lies about the number of unreported crimes
>Hire shills to pretend to believe her on the internet

She is true evil.

Well if you are going to label a group of people worse than another group they should probably be different. However, if the crime rate among refugees and citizens is the same... it is tough to make an argument that refugees are any worse than the locals.

>Paris
>Brussels
Salah Abdeslam
The 26-year-old French national, who was born in Brussels.
Akrouh, 25, was born and raised in Belgium,
The 29-year-old French national of Algerian descent (Born in the poor Paris suburb of Courcouronnes)
Bilal Hadfi - French National
and so on

Many of these people were born and raised in France/Brussels.

even your anecdotal evidence is garbage.

>you would think Germany is drowning under an unstoppable tide of migrants.
Implying it's not.
Do some research.
Women can't take the subway safely anymore.
Every other day there's reports of someone being gang raped.
German women take to youtube or facebook to complain about being sexually harassed or assaulted by migrants.
You have to be blind if you think Russia is just making all this shit up for political purposes.

Not the anon you are responding to, but you seem to have difficulty understanding the difference between representational/generalizable data and data that cannot be generalized out to the broader population.

A collection of youtube videos, newspaper articles and stories from your friends is not representational of what is occuring in a society. At best this can be understood as simple convience sampling (really this is just a collection of anecdotal evidence). The data is only representational of those within the sample not the population as a whole.

If you want to argue that Germany is being significantly effected by migrants in relation to sexual assault on the subway, number of rapes, and so on you need to conduct research in a manner which allows you to create representational data. This could be done through developing a randomly selected sample from the population and surveying them on things that have actually happened to them or their family. You could compare crime rates from this year and last year or the year before. And so on.

If you are going to have a really strong opinion you might as well back it up with something better than your feels or a few newspaper articles. The news reports on crime skyrocketed in the USA from the 70s to the 10s, but the crime rate fell or stayed flat. Not surprisingly, reports of crime are exciting and attract attention. The news isn't a perfect representation of reality and a collection of news articles about single events is certainly not a generalizable representation of reality.

Looks like Russia's been trying to get uppity again the last few years. Soon it will be time for them to get the shit kicked out of them again.

Nationlets, when will they learn?

Quick question: Why do i hear the argument it would be expensive to deport refugees?

Lets just forget the fact its not just syrian refugees ( who i cannot respect if there male and fighting age and if anything this is a fine excuse to emmigrate to wealthier nations) coming to europe.

So id propse making one area of europe the go to drop off point for undesireables I realise there are already camps however these were mere improvised settlements whilst they waited for there cance to reach there destinations which had prosperity (which incedntly wont be when they arrive,)

Also, we will see even more serious issues when the well of welfare dries up (UK here, paticular problem) Its unstable AND very probable.

Outcome? ill simply say this: Americans, please deliver firearms in the near future, were going to need them!
>>
>>37975

what is the average wealth of a refugee?

i mean i d imagine the poorest people who cant afford to pay all the bribes, fees, etc to get out are stuck there. wouldnt it be the weathliest that could afford to get fuck out of there?

imagine if the us tore apart in some stupid ass war and people started fleeing to brazil. i dont think the poorest of the poor are going to make it down there.
