The Chief Information Technology
Officer with the UN, Atafeh Riazi,
said in an interview as to how she
is planning to secure the dark web.

She said that Digital Blue Helmets,
an expert group to be set up, would
be of great help in foiling the ill
effects being caused by the
activities on the dark web.

According to the UN CITO, the
need to set up an expert group has
arisen because of the changes that
have come about in the cyber
world.

She noted that Digital Blue Helmets
would act as the peacekeepers of
the cyberspace.

Operating in the cyber world, the
experts group would protect the UN
from cyber intrusion.

The group would also support the
UN in delivering their missions in
the cyberspace.

In fact, Riazi’s plan is to create a
“light web” with the help of Digital
Blue Helmets and counter the
operators in the dark web.

Further, the UN plans to reorganize
its logistics and invest in security
tools and solutions so that the team
becomes equipped to handle both
the IT and operations sides.

I love that people this retarded are in charge of the UN, it's the only reason they haven't ruined the world yet.
>>
Finally!
We really needed someone to tackle the menace of deep web hacker websites such as 4Chan.
>>
Is this what the UN does all day?
>>
So like, where is the actual source?
>>
>>35044
seconding this. You would think they would at least put out an official press release somewhere else besides twitter.
>>
>>35021
I think the funniest fucking part about this is that even if she were to seriously attempt to take over TOR shit or something, decentralized p2p webs are on the cusp of becoming popular, so everything would be in vain.
>>
>>35058
>attempt to take over TOR shit
I thought the vast majority of TOR nodes were controlled by US Cyber Command through the Office of Naval Intelligence in the first place since TOR was originally a US Navy DARPA project.
>>
>>35059
From what I understand, that's correct. I was just spit balling because when the plan is "turn da dark net into lite net!!!" you don't have much to work with.
>>
>>35058

True. When I was home during the holiday last summer my parents had TOR installed. Heard it on BBC, I think. So odd seeing TOR in the hands of non autistic /g/ weeaboos or pedos
>>
>>35105
I hate to break it to you but your parents are pedophiles.

Either that or they needed to have somebody iced.
>>
>>35112
That would explain a lot about my childhood..

The fuck is wrong with the formatting

How the fuck does that work

unatco when

>UN still thinks the criminal shit is still just a tor install away.

You have to go deeper.

I didn't realize my technologically retarded uncles and aunts were UN policy makers, neat.

DIGIMON ARE THE CHAMPIONS
>>
>>35139
ye sorry about that i was rushing.
>>
>>35141
i dont know but its not going to take down the deep web what it means is that people will have to be way more wise about what they do.
>>
>>35183
ye they need to realise that people host these sites themselves in rented places and some sites require you to have a one on one web cam chat with the host/admin also a lot of sites are not even on the new hidden wiki meaning that you need someone to give you the url this happens on anonymous irc chats and its still risky.
>>
>>35038

4chan is a truly evasive hacker and distributor of child porn, how can we ever hope to catch him?
>>
>>35044
I laughed
>>
>>35175
With the week.
>>
>that whole twitter
Does she even have a job?
>>
>>35021
has this woman ever spend a single second on the internet ?
not to mention that about a room full of actual hackers get triggered by anything even somewhat close to regulations and control.
Im pretty sure that idea of her is just poking into the hornets nest.
>>
>>35263
she is in the UN but she only talks about tech on twitter however i dont really think she knows much about the field.

"The only thing saving us from the evil of be beurocracy is its inefficiency."

>>35064
We're gonna expose the dark net by turning on the lights.

>>35245
You won't be laughing during the great "meme prohibition" of 2020.

Consequences will never be the same.

Considering that banner and the tons of "we need more equality and women here and there" twits that was kind of hard to miss

TOR has been compromised by the CIA for more than 2 years now
>>
>>35371
HAHAHA no it hasn't. Why do you think the NSA says "Tor Sucks"?

I have no words.

We need to be thinking about how we can achieve more digits in womens gaps by 2030. Marketroid justice is very important.

TOR exit node analysis is an effective method for isolating IPs, assuming you have the crunch capability.
>>
>>35021
The UN is going to spend millions of dollars to investigate a meme?
>>
>>35434
well, it is the dankest of memes. that shit dont come cheap
>>
>un cyberpolice
>>
>>35454
ye thats what they seem to be planning.
>>
>>35422
basically the only way of getting away with things is by going to a coffee shop and using a vpn to buy you time.
>>
>>35482
Ed Zachary

One could also set up their own mini-distributed network of Pineapples and Pis that then connect to Tor via public wifi. It would take time to build, but it would be cheap as hell. a meta-tor, if you will.

You're ignoring hidden services.
