For the first time since pre-WWII era, a neo-nazi political party (formed by radical Marian Kotleba) was elected in Slovakia. According to analysts, the situation was most likely caused by the strong stance of Slovak people against the refugee crisis, which is seen by election of some brand new anti-immigration-focused political parties. For a long time, Slovakia refused to help Europe with refugees.
