I live in Colorado and even though I don't smoke, I'm happy it is legal for people who do. I don't feel unsafe, and actually the state I used to live in has a worse issue with crime, and the standard of living overall is poor.

I know quite a few. They are tired of the government telling Americans what they can do in their homes if it doesn't have a negative affect on others. I don't know about legalization but I do think all drugs should be decriminalized, at least for the users. The money spent chasing down and locking up drug users would be better spent on rehabilitation.
