In no part did the video even elude to Islam or the middle east, unless you count him being black and shooting a firearm. Can I get a source on the claim that the shooter was a previous Felon?

Perhaps it's more effective in island nations, but places such as those, eg the UK, have suffered huge increases in non-gun violence and robberies. Being from /k/, I'm honor-bound to bite.
There are very few instances where the kind of gun control that the left has on the cards would prevent this kind of violence, these are people who did nothing to show the government that they shouldn't be given access to firearms before they committed their crimes.
All this legislation really does is piss those of us that own and enjoy guns off, all while we're forced to see this keep happening and used as a justification for more of the same.
All I think we can really do is get some proper mental health screening and care systems done in general, and keeping the media away from the whole WHO IS HE, WHY DOES HE WEAR THE MASK kind of attention to the shooter could only help matters.
