RIP the onion

Please tell me this is not true.
If Onion usually posts satrical stuff, maybe people think it's sarcasm if they talk about how awesome hillary is.

Propaganda + not funny. RIP the Onion
>>24319
rip in piece onion man
The onion should do a piece on that
>>24325
Maybe the Onion wants to make fake news outside their website?!

Honestly, this one doesn't seem so bad. It looks like most of the Onion's recent articles just aren't funny period.
>>24319
The Onion has been pretty bland-to-awful for a while now. And they were always enormous libcucks so it's not like this changes much.
>>24505
Oh lawd that is some hot garbage
>>24505
I'm not a big Hillary-hater, but that's just not funny at all.

Wait, who thought buying an unreputable news source to spit out propaganda was a good idea?
The Onion was bought in mid January.
Since that time, the following articles have come out.
http://www.theonion.com/article/clinton-aide-told-leave-behind-weak-volunteer-who--52354
http://www.theonion.com/article/new-hampshire-covered-shadow-floating-clinton-camp-52325

http://www.theonion.com/article/retreating-clinton-campaign-torches-iowa-town-slow-52261
None of which are flattering to Clinton. In the meantime, there has been a similar number of pieces mocking rich people for being annoyed with Sanders. The author of OP's article basically just waited until an obligatory positive Clinton piece came out to jump on it even though the Onion was actually bought a month ago. "Immediately" publishing propaganda?
The onion has been shit since the last time they were sold, a few years back
they've had absolutely no edge since then, just waves of boring safe mildly-liberal articles

This right here.
Also, the "Free Thought Project" is not a reputable source IMO. I did some research on them yesterday and found out a couple of interesting things:
A - Their ownership, funding, and staff bios are completely opaque. Even if you look up their contributors on facebook, you will only find impersonal public figures with no real-world connections (i.e journalism degrees from real schools) and an obsession with criticizing U.S. society/government.
B - They never, EVER, have anything bad to say about Russia or its allies. Putin's regime always gets a free pass, even for stuff that the Project otherwise opposes, like police brutality and overseas militarism. This is most obvious when you look at their coverage of the wars in Ukraine/Syria.
Given that Russia is known to engage in mass internet propaganda,

and that it has a long history of establishing front organizations in the West,

I think it is plausible that you just cited a Putin sock puppet.

Thanks for the catch, I fell for this hook, line, and sinker.
Keep up the good work.
