It has the potential, if it becomes virulent enough, to create a generation of microencephalic babies. That means they have smaller brains than normal and are usually (though not always) mentally retarded as a result. This happens as a result of women picking up the zika virus somehow (mosquito, kissing, drinking piss, etc.) and then getting pregnant.
