I know nothing about cycling, but has anyone ever crashed their bike in-front of someone to purposefully take them out with them in a race?

There was a case where a team crashed on purpose to get a redo on a time trial

It sounds like a pretty dirty tactic that would get you b& if there was any evidence.
So Lance probably had his team do it once or twice.
Crashing in a race hurts like shit and is actualy dangerous for you pretty much no matter what. Once you've smashed an elbow or a knee, or a shoulder, basically anything into the ground at 30-35+mph it'll take some serious craziness to do again. Then again, thousands of dollars cause serious craziness. So probably.

When I was racing bmx we would crash each other all the time.. we were just kids and that was just for the win. Why wouldnt adults do it in road racing? You also see it in other forms of racing like nascar.. but they usually just block
