Post google maps shots or non professional photos of your favorite local roads. I'm getting hyped for snowmelt.
Not the curviest section but one of the best view spots.
>tfw North Buckinghamshire
>tfw just generic rolling hills countryside
Nothing interesting to see really, generally pretty but quite samey. Hills are very steep and short but google maps doesn't do them justice.
Pic related was a fucking cunt.

Woops, forgot to say that was looking down the hill, this is up part of it.

Wish the roads I cycle on were as nice as that, fucking potholes everywhere here.
12% grade on this switchback
>>930983
This looks really fun to ride.
>>931078
>>931079
As does this, at least as long as there wasn't too much traffic.
up the andes mountains, santiago, chile
city is this way
>tfw you live in Boremany
._.
>>931085
At least there are castles and shit
there's nothing super scenic on streetview where I live since I bike out of the city and the only hills are little dead end roads they don't bother street-viewing. it's nice getting to ride past Walden Pond somewhat often though, the fall foliage is absolutely based.
>>930983
My favorite place to ride is anywhere near the beach.
No matter how hot it is, there's always a little bit of a breeze.
Air seems cleaner/crisper and easier to breath.
Mood is much more relaxed.
It all looks like the attached pic.
Palm trees, white sand, small hotels, condos and rental properties.
The roads are kept in pretty good condition. Not many potholes/patches, debris etc.
>>931089
ventured forth to the one mountain in the state once - beginning of the harder side to climb right here
>tfw switchbacks were all in the trees

Not exactly streetview, but its one of those embedded pictures on panoramio.
Probably my fav climb. Gotta be honest, usually its not that spectacular. Just a forest desu.
In a place of quilpué, there are 2 valleys which are separated: marga marga valley and colliguay valley. This is a photo of the route which lets you go from one valley to the other one. not too long (only about 6 km and 800 mts of elevation) but that part of the route is a tough section (almost the toughest) in the middle of a bigger and tougher trip in the most cases.
This is a video of a guy downhilling that shit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDAPGPtoGac
There is not streetview of that place.

A closer look.

Nothing beats climbing lookout mountain in the morning
> Not having pictures from your everyday ride
Come on guys
>>931461
Ok, you ask for it. This was from a one week ago ride. This is inside a place called "las palmas", which is inside another place called "quebrada alvarado", which is part of the Olmué city.
>>931460
You win. Amazing.
>>931462
I feel envy.
>>931460
so why would you post the sunset then?
I wish I could get up there for a morning ride, but even if I leave my place at dawn its still 2 hours until I would get there and by then all the idiots are out.... still a fun ride and one of my favorites... but up the road to genesse is more fun once the casuals thin out.
>>931085 here
Fuck all of you guys ._.

chile bike nerds united in i dontknowwhatthefuck.
no daily ride pics from me though, my phone sucks.
Not local but had to post
>local roads
nothing but farmland in all directions
>>931670
>dream roads
maybe one day soon.
Local road here. Could be worse.
>>931680
>complaining
yeah fuk u. I'd move just to ride there. the best place to ride locally isn't even local, having to drive 120km to the destination.
OP here
>>931079
Dont worry, I'm not that spoiled. A lot of these roads are snowed out in the winter.
>>931081
so does that road, CO looks awesome.
>>931460
yeah I love livin by the mountains
Heres some more senpai. If you're in SLC hit me up fuh'real.
>>931755
cont.
People don't realize how much 10/10 riding there is in Utah. Mormons distract people.
I'll post a couple more for the haters.
>>931758
None of these require a car. All out n back rides within range of the city. This is my picture.
>>930983
That looks like one of the Gran Turismo 5 tracks
This spot is about 15 miles from my house. If there's a commercial with a car driving along a beach, there's a great chance that rock is in it. Tour of California will be going through here this year. Can't wait.
This picture was taken not long after a wildfire, its much greener now.
>>931759
What a great pic.
This pic is part of a sequence of pics i took on a trip i did about 3 months ago, in a Little vilage called Ramadilla, inside a city called Combarbalá. The trip was made on rented bike.
Of course there are not streetviews of this.
>>931479
My phone got washed in the laundry recently and that's currently the best shot I have. Pic related is from lookout, I call this bike "the mean green perpetual virginity machine" or " the safety bike"
ignore the americafreedomtruck in this picture

Why the fuck is your saddle so low?
This route is fucking awesome in the summer
Basically you cycle up this long-ass hill that you see before you (there's a very steep section just a few metres up from here, but it doesn't last that long, then it's just a long steady climb up for a couple hundred metres)
Then you get the top and bomb down the other side.
Don't ask my why the power lines seemingly disappear in this photo, I tried adjusting my position and it was the same.
>>932057
The view in the other direction is pretty nice too actually.
There's a pub in that village (where you see the red roofs are in the middle) where we usually stop before attacking this hill, because it's a good mid-way point for the ride. And at that pub there's a beer garden at the back that looks straight out onto all these rolling hills. It's nice.
>>932062
Also here's a picture of that pub just because I feel like it. It's a nice place.
>>931999
that looks incredible
Best ride I've ever experienced.
>>932050
Because I was about to hit a really steep trail
>>932050
I was about to hit a really steep trail

I haven't been out to Colorado springs in a while I don't think I've seen it
The terrain where I live is ever so slightly hilly and dominated by forest. No mountainous scenery to take one's breath away but I love wandering into the nature with a CX. Sun barely sets in the summer so nights are all the more fun as it adds to the feeling of being the last person on earth.
The road in the pic isn't too smooth to travel tho lel
>>932131
That looks very cool, looks like GTA V.
Nova Scotia though, does that mean you live out in the middle of nowhere?
This is pretty much the only local road. Though I get to chase reindeers every now and then so that's nice
>>933185
I live just outside of Halifax.
