This is the Zaftig, a replacement fork/rack. The stock $200 Zaftig can be had for threaded or threadless headsets, and is designed for a 20-inch (BMX) wheel.

I don't get why you'd need/want that much travel on a cargo bike. Also the rack should be on the suspended part of the fork so your cargo doesn't get shaken when you go over a bump.

Hmm. I see you have some wisdom.

I have a back seatpost rack (alum, really not that good). i don't super NEED a rack so far, but they want me to have one

I want a front rack, but i love drops and aeroness. what should i look for? i allready know i need to abandon my super tight quick release fixie nonsense because the QR's will get bent

I think it's rigid, it's just made to look like a DH fork

What a steering nightmare

You must train your biceps to move that.

I tried building one of these, but couldnt quite get the steering to stay in adjustment. It was fun until a slight bump would make the whole thing go to shit, spend 15 minutes readjusting, then do it all again

Obviously rigid... you can tell by the fact the stanchion tubes have a consistent diameter top to bottom, nothing to slide. lots of cruiser bikes use dual crown rigid forks.

Looks like a nifty idea... though steering would suck. Should be fine with some wide handlebars though.

They look cool... pretty strange. Supposed to have a much more supple ride quality compared to conventional rigid forks... I'd like to try one but that extra stack height up top is weaksauce.

Linkage/lever action front suspension is neat, pic related. You can manipulate the direction the wheel moves compared to telescopic suspension, say backward for example... to improve control... theoretically.

This bike is interesting. No fuckin clue how that rear suspension is supposed to work... inverted front fork is cool. Also appears to have on-the-fly tire pressure adjustment system, which would indeed be crazy useful especially with 3-5" tires.

Not sure if this counts. Routered out trigger shifters to fit these bars.
