Thanks brofam

I've got a '74 Raleigh Grand Prix, an '81ish Schwinn Le Tour III, a mid-80's Huffy Nitro, a '97 Giant Rincon, and a 70's Montgomery Ward Omega that I found in a snowbank.
>>
>>924537
How's that Raleigh grand prix? I want an MKII.
>>
>>924499
What kind of Serrota?

So I'm not the only one who names their bikes. Very good.

>>924593
Why do you feel the need to put your fucking face in there? Bitch

I'll have to get updated pictures of my stable in the daylight tomorrow...

>>924593
I don't remember seeing Cuilean before, is that a recent addition or just one we haven't seen with wheels in place?

>>924445
You have some fun bikes, and I appreciate how clean you've got them. Are you planning to cruiser-ize that Motobecane too?
>>
>>924617
Thanks friend : )
I'm going to leave it all orginal. I wanted to do a gold bar wrap to match the pin stripping on the lugs but it might be too tacky. ??? We'll see.
Please post pictures. I need more bike porn

It's pretty sweet for a rummage sale find. I need a new crankset for it because the bolt holding it together fell out sometime and it got bent in a crash. I'll probably end up giving it to my girlfriends dad though since he's got a giant boner for old Raleigh's.
>>
>>924635
I hate cottered cranks. Good luck to you because I was about to sawzall the crank arms off when I was servicing the BB

I've had the frame sitting around for quite awhile so I recently finally threw it together. Unfortunately keeping Sophie running through the harsh, broke winter has required cannibalizing both her and Cadence.

>>
>>924655
That's probably what I'm going to have to do to mine. I ended up deforming the cotter trying to get it out to work on the BB. Mine never came out. It's just chilling in my garage now, I mostly ride the Schwinn.
>>
>>924976
Yeah mine got stuck too. I took a drill bit and drilled half way through the pin. It came out after that. I used a bit that was a size or two smaller than the pin.

>usin the wrong size bb and ur crank hits those fatty cdale stays

First two columns are my 'keepers', C1 is this year's winter beater (hate this frame), C2 and 3 are family's bikes.

And yes, I do ride all of them.

Thanks f a m. Upgraded with Shimano 600ex arabesque group, Brooks cambium saddle and Nitto moustache bars. Getting some Mavics with Shimano high flang hubs in the mail next week. Hopefully it brings it down to 25lbs

Couldn't tell you. I picked it up at a flea market for $20. A little far gone to be rideable, the wheels were out-of-true for too long.
