/n/, Do you guys ever ride around town with your homies and cause a ruckus?
If so, whats your group name?
I try to ride standing on the toptube when i check out secondhand bikes. If i have to jump clear/ bail then the bike doesn't track straight and it has been crashed before.
>tfw owner gets mad at me for scratching his bike that has already been crashed and is trash
ill biff it in the lagoon for u mate if u want
That's a nigger thing.
And yes i did many times, however i was like the last guy in OP's pic. I've enjoyed the ride and the (many times false) sensation of being safe. They kept doing tricks and shit around the town and with people, i just enjoyed at my own pace.
Last time, we gone to a waterfall with bmx bikes and almost died at the trails. It was the best day of them, and the last one as few of the bro's got jobs, two are living in another city and the trail broke one bike. The guy never fixed it and abandoned us.
It was 4 years ago,and i miss these days. Our name, translated to english, was something like "The homeless dildo's" due to a shitty joke we made.
As a young lad we used to ride side by side taking up the whole road in our quiet suburban streets. We'd call ourselves "The Road Hogs" because we hogged the road.
Pic not us but kind of related.
Heaven i's devilsz

It's fair to suggest that a gang mentality can be "a nigger thing".
Like organising a gang to boycott an awards ceremony.
We ride Mongooses. We call ourselves the Mongooses.

When I was 10, sure.
I'm the type of guy that likes to ride around
I'm never in one place
I ride from town to town
And when I find myself falling for some girl
I hop right onto that bike of mine and ride around the world
Yeah I'm the wanderer, oh the wanderer
I ride around around around
The ride never ends,,,,
We are the windrammers
When I was 19 I commuted to work every days out 10 miles each way. All my friends took note and wanted to get bikes, so slowly I went with them to the LBS (the best btw). They each bought second hand road bikes and some ridged mtbs. I didn't them for going the cheaper route because when they're shit broke I got a chance to fix it and I liked learning. Slowly and slowly we started becoming a constant group and we rode together pretty regularly around our county. This was around the time Gangland was really popular and one of the episodes focused on a motorcycle gang that is huge in the area. Somehow a joke about being a gang became a real thing and we started calling ourselves Satans Sisters BC. We started matching our bikes handle bar grip colors and wearing cut off denim vests. We'd ride around with six packs and blunts, usually playing fucking intense games of bike tag in empty business parking lots. My favorite was night preaching, which is just one rider in the front of the group who preaches like a black preacher about satan while the rest of the group hoots and hollers behind him. All of this was in good fun, and we never killed nobody. I think the biggest we ever got with full "patched in" members was 10-11
>mfw that was almost 10 years ago
>mfw so many of them moved away to places like LA and TX
>I miss my friends

I think the whole reject thing was what we were going for in the first place...
Also I googled bicycle clubs and holy shit we weren't alone

I like the bike-gang theme. This is my current vest (the black block is made of jersey-like pockets)

Nice, I like the simplicity.

It just happens that we all ride bikes too
The other day I was riding home in full kit, ice everywhere, at 9:00 pm and I came across a bunch of ghetto kids on BMX
I was taking it easy but still passed them and they sped up to keep pace for about half a mile. I started getting nervous but they didn't say anything or make eye contact and I didn't try to drop them since I didn't want to trigger the chase response and then have to stop for snow. Finally the kid next to me was like "damm we gotta trade bikes", dropped out, and they all turned around and went home.
8/10 would go slumming with again.

sometimes
Looking back now I realize I have spent much of my life as a scumbag. I used to bmx a lot. We would go out for a night ride, smoke a little weed and then bunnyhop onto smaller cars like honda civics and stuff, with the bigger cars we would just bunnyhop and tag their quarter panels with the pegs or rip off mirrors at intersections. Sometimes people would try to chase us but their cars really cant go the same places we could. I think I was kicked off the campus of my local college about 20 times and seems like a lot of cops knew my name... I am lucky enough to have grown up at a time when cops let the little stuff go and didnt try to ruin peoples lives right away.

Yes, and yes.
Denver Cruiser Ride is the big one, every week during the summer. It draws HUNDEREDS of bikes.
There's another ride I do on Tuesdays with a bunch of friends, this ride usually averages from 5-20 people, is faster paced, and everyone knows each other much better.
It's fucking awesome.

i dont even know why we call edgy kids "edgy." making jokes at the expense of marginalized ppl isnt avant-garde, its the fucking status quo.
when a cis white man uses a slur, the people affected and some allies get upset but so many remain silent. if you really want to cause a stir and rile people up, put a trigger warning in front of your posts and watch peoples heads explode.
there is no edgier stance for a cis white male to take than to be a SJW. using inclusive language and being mindful of privilege is an act of rebellion and a direct assault against the establishment.
lack of equality is what our current system thrives on and language is absolutely oppressive and changing the way we speak changes the way we think and can lead to a freer world.
it is also important to note that there is nothing impressive or brave about a cis white male speaking out against white supremacy. i may lose friends but i am at no risk, my privilege stays in tact. and actually, taking a strong SJW stance as a white man earns me power in spaces that dont belong to me, just BECAUSE of designation in life so be careful with that. trust no cis white man, not even an awakened compassionate one. dont even trust me because every man has his price and one day i might feel forced to sell you down the river.
in summary: there is nothing more fucking pUnK RoCk than loving each other

I find your post problematic as a disabled trans POC.
Regardless of your good intentions, being cis, white, and male still makes you part of the problem...
the flat city rascals
We were the Fartlords, we were going to get beach cruisers and set them up for winter commuting and ice racing.
