The Kit car is actually fairly decent from what I've seen of one a guy I used to work with was building. It seriously comes down to how good the person doing it is, and how much they're willing to spend on a decent drivetrain. If i had space to build one, and the money I'd love to have one, but my garage is already taken by my bikes and car.

depending on where you live a custom build off of craigslist is the best way to go
get a full cromo frame for sure, full build 25 lbs or less
if you're over 5'10" or adult size look for a 21" top tube, 8"+ bars

Sweet a bmx thread! I think this might be the only one on all of 4chan.
Here's a picture of my bike, it's a Frankenstein bike almost entirely made out of hand-me-down parts. I think the frame is some sort of kids size, the wheels are 20" and far from true. Sprockets bent, rear hub has a locknut too tight and I don't have the tools to get it off so I can't even ride it without it's chain anymore. Broke and out of work and crazy depressed I can't even ride what do I dooooooooooo ;_;

yes, a lot of them dont use brakes.. wheels are actually cassette or freecoaster. the later lets you go backwards without having to pedal backwards.
the truth is that its not so dangerous as it sounds.. brakeless singlespeeds or fixies are lot more dangerous imo as you go way faster than on a bmx... you can go fast on a b,x but just for a short while.. you usually just cruise relaxed.. also you learn on how to brake using your feet on the wheels, its actually simple and instinctive after a while... and easy as bikes are small..also bmx riders = skill controling the bike.. so braking with feet on wheel or ground or whatever aint hard... again i find it way more dangerous on ss/fixies without brakes...
and its not only that brakes interfere so much with all that youre doing (barspin mainly), but more than they break fucking easily.... bmx bikes = made for literally throwing around.... the abuse they get is a lot.. thats also why you have protections for the hubs and stuff.. and thats also why they are usually of cromoly.. and yet they still break a fucking ton... on a bmx bike everything gets broken sooner or later.. from cranks to the fucking frame..no one really cares about weight so much but they do care about how long will this shit last... and breaks are fragile as shit.

Advice for really, really begginners?
My bike weighs about 17lbs. I'm thinking about what should i do to improve its weight.

I'm 5'7, 165lbs and i can't manual or even lift my front wheel. The bike simply doesn't come. So, i'm having difficulty at the Bunny hop and etc.
It may be lack of training, or even lack of upper body strength. But i think the problem is my bike, because i can do well in my friends bike (Wich weighs something like, 14lbs or less).

yeah cut the seat post down but not because of weight, just to keep it low and out of the way... 17lbs is nothing. When I was a kind at 15 yrs old and 140lbs I had a bike around 35lbs and could bunny hop onto a picnic table. Weight is not the issue, your strength and form is the problem. You havent spent much time learning how to balance in a wheelie or manual and you just got a late start. Go get yourself a cinder block and a boar to make a small jump. Go off it a bunch and learn how to be comfortable on your bike. While jumping you will get sick of landing on your front tire and learn to keep the weight back and pull up a bit... soon you will be looping out.

Is the front brake important for any trick? I'll extend the rear brake cable for the barspins and tailwhip, as i need one brake for city mobility.
But i don't see a reason to maintain the front brake.
