I'm pretty new to classical myself but I just listened to Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 7 and it blew my mind, so dynamic and emotional.

I'm not even sure how you can call Missa Solemnis or the Jupiter boring, tasteless, or devoid of emotion. Even the most generic of Mozart's sonatas contain absolutely gorgeous, introspective adagios.

Except it does inspire creativity. Have you heard more than one recording of a piece before? Many interpreters do many, many different things based on what they feel, what they think the music should sound like, what the music actually sounded like, and a combination of all of the above. Once again, you have proved that you no idea what classical music is about.
If you care so much about improvisation, check out Baroque music which heavily relies on improvised ornamentation or classical concertos which may or may not include improvised cadenzas.

I highly recommend a lighthearted Mozart opera like Figaro to start with. It's a lot of fun to listen to and you can just sit back and enjoy the fucking retarded plot.

But that's the way it is. The freedom of the piece is up to the composer; think of the composer as the writer, the director as the editor and the musician as the retailer. At the end, not everybody is going to feel the same or even read the same thing, but the emotions are there, triggered by ink over sheets of paper. That's all art for you, the elliciting of responses using a physical medium. Of course there's going to be works that won't ellicit any response, (postmodern music) but the mean is another. And of course, the piece is not going to ellicit a response in everybody. Emotions, and its triggers are very dependant on the emotional baggage and sensibilities of each one. Millenials who are raised thinking that only good, positive and simple emotions are healthy aren't going to understand the complexity and beauty of classical music.
There is also academic music, which is not as emotional as classical (the tradition of western art music) which you call 'study music'. People who think that classical music is relaxing or focusing just don't have any sensibility at all and I feel pity for them.

It conveys ignorance. Like the term "art music" compared to "popular" or "traditional" music, "piece" has a specific denotation which is different from "song". Whether these distinctions should exist or not is an entire new can of worms, but it's just they way things are now.
