I listened to Posing for Rosey, at first I wasn't sure about the track because things were progressing very slowly, but I was eventually sucked into the huge soundstage. I'd say rhythm and production are definitely your strengths, but I wasn't feeling wholly engaged by the melodies; the focus definitely seems to be placed on the atmosphere of it all, which is fine if that's what you're going for. I love those synth tones though. I'd call your music downtempo or trip-hop if I needed to put a label on it.

I dig the meandering progression of the beats, and the soundplay with some of the samples. I'm always down with intentional choppiness. I especially like the ordering of the beats, they flow together nicely in a way that's not always predictable. I say these beats could use a competent rapper, or a few extra leads added to certain sections.

I'm not feeling your most recent tracks, especially might be dead, the melodies sound too familiar, in Laza the melodies are a bit better, but both tracks seem kind of directionless as far as structure goes. I did like some of your ambient tracks though, 13 Shrine Glasses especially, it was texturally diverse, and those synths sounded amazing. Check out his ambient stuff.

i listened to your track and its really lovey, a lot of different influences i can hear. the first bit reminds me of a bit more distorted canterbury scene prog rock bands, and i love the noisey section in the middle and then the soft outro is a lovely way to end it all. really enjoyable stuff man!

I listened to both, and again, I like your drum patterns, but I'm just not into the reverb soaked guitar sound. The Last Hat had that pitch shifting on it which was pretty cool, but I'd easily say I prefer Posing for Rosey over both of those tracks. It appealed more to my sensibilities as someone who likes more progression.

I'm >>63775045 thanks for the rec. The biggest problem I can see is the fact that a bunch of your tracks are short themes and as you say have no hope of finding their way into an actual piece. Outside of Recovery Project, on get a grip, there's an issue with timing at points, you should get yourself a click track for that or something. It'd be a pain in the ass to set it for all those changing time signatures, but it'd be worth it. Hippo and megalomaniacman were pretty cool. I dig your midi tracks as well. You should try adding some midi elements to your Outside of Recovery type stuff in the future.
