This statement is objectively wrong. Dark horse had some trap elements but Prism was mainly about hedonism and girly bullshit.
Rise is not only full trap but incorporates elements of psybient, namely the wide Synths to create a sense of wide space while the album cover's surreal minimalistic aesthetic shows that this album is not of this world or any silly emotional "getting over a bf or a girl said something mean to me" or whatever the fuck girls sing about. Mainstream pop artists never touch the next level in their "work" but Katy Perry does exactly this, drawing you out of your world and into a higher plane. Her artistic vision is finally unique and unmatched. I think we're about to hear her actually "Roar"
