Not stuff like Pink Floyd or Kid A Radiohead where it's the more cliche type of synths being used. But like a variety of different sounds and noises like Faust on this album. A non-rock example of the electronic would be like Autechre these days where it's like a bunch of sounds hitting the listener rather than preset synths. Idk if I am making sense, but yeah anything else like that?

Neu is more Krautrock like that

I haven't heard Faust but I'd say try Portishead or Ratatat. Portishead is pretentious mu-ey shit and ratatat is quite catchy.

also joy division but everyone's heard of Joy Division.

Negativland is what you want, maybe disco inferno

>Faust
>Literally nothing like Henry Cow

They played with each others band during tours pleb

Not what I was looking for since there's very little electronic stuff, but for sure has some similarities to Faust I's creepier parts.

I really need to get on these. Me not checking out Neu!'s the particularly weird thing since they are the only band I straight up skipped from the Krautrock chart and when I started listening to more obscure stuff in that genre, STILL never checked them out.

>>66428566
I like every group you mentioned, but trust me those are nothing like Faust on their first album. If you have never listened to it, I would recommend checking it out. Chances are you probably won't dig it, but it's for sure an interesting listen at the very least.

Well, lets see how Neu fares. I am probably expecting more stuff like Can and other synth melody heavy kosmische/krautrock but you never know.

Squarepusher maybe?

I always thought Squarepusher did like that crazy acid/jungle/dnb combo thing. Never knew they had rock in their music. Which album has the rock musics?

>>66430044
Nah. Love this album, but the closest thing to Rock music going on is a bass guitar.

>>66430092
Walker? Wow, he must have changed his style big time. I only know his 60s baroque pop sounding stuff.

Industrial Rock doesn't have enough electronic going on for what I am tryna find. Maybe I am being too specific idk. Probably me being weird cuz I hadn't listened to Faust in over a year and was really in the mood all of a sudden.
