I don't know
yes
>girls - father, son, holy ghost
>not God specifically but some sort of cosmic overseeing force dictating fate, yes
Ironically
not really
I'm a deist
Only on sundays or if asked by family members.
no
>>66425192
>>66425235
not really respectable answers
>>66425221
>>66425251
bullshit, fully comprehending that the Judeo-Christian god is not the only possible god
No
No, never
There's no way to tell
its possible
nah
>>66425298
are you 12?
Yes, but not in a creator deity
>agnostic
>>66425298
>if asked by family members
This
My pick
Nah, but used to.
Yes
>>66425235
What does that even mean
Reminder belief is different than having faith in
No
>>66425415
A little more than twice that, but I understand what you mean.
No, but I did when I was a kid
nah
yes
i have seen the shrouded face of god pass over me
and i choose to believe
Yes
Only on Wednesdays
>>66425418
interesting
>>66425428
actually fulfilling stereotypes
Yes, but not a dick about it
Not sure but logically i say no
>>66425683
Based
>>66425154
No, ironically
nope
>>66425700
True
>>66425334
yeah i do get that. how is my answer bullshit?
>>66425442
as a joke i figure.
I believe in God, but not a creed.
>>66425334
Why is my answer not respectable? It's just fucking agnosticism mate
Not at all
i mean i just know we're all one consciousness it's all good m8
>>66425471
i have this on vinyl, it's an original too! <3
Nah
I believe in Krishna
No, but I do fear God
>The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Yes, but God reveals himself and makes us transcend in history and the world. Faith is political.
Any thoughts of an afterlife, heaven and hell are mere hope and they are not the central point of God.
I don't believe in any particular God, but I don't reject the hypothesis that there might be one
Fuck no
i want to but i just don't :(
lol no
In the words of Dawkins
>I am an agnostic-atheist.
Basically saying that all logic and science points to there not being a god, but dealing in positives is contradictory and there is some degree of opinion when dealing with such a question.
some days
>>66427742
i'm no longer a kid to believe in imaginary friends. sorry
Agnostic, but as a kid i used to constantly swing between Christian and atheist.
>>66427777
yeah mom im 16 i can do what i want
>>66427742
good one
Not sure, most likely not.
Very much so
>>66427813
>>66427777
This isn't bait, and I am not a kid. If you cannot see the benefits of spirituality in today's world you are blind. It's like you're not even trying really.
>>66427946
right
>>66426242
i like how you said thoughts about the afterlife are not the central point to God
>>66427946
Are you more of a fedora or trilby guy?
>>66429190
>>66428010
Fuck off.
I don't wear a trilby, or a fedora because I am not a neckbearded faggot. I don't listen to metal, and I'm not a fucking beta. Just Because I Believe in God doesn't make me some meme you fuck.
Grow up.
No
certainly not in the traditional sense
le fedora hat meme is funny, but if you seriously believe in god in the current year of 2016 (twenty six teen) you're a fucking imbecile. you could argue that your belief has had positive effects on both the world in general and the human psyche, and i might agree with you, but that's totally irrelevant.
>>66432075
God isn't some mystical white bearded man that grants wishes, and if you think that's what people believe in when you say God, you are the imbecile. Nobody can prove there is a God, and nobody can disprove it and that is the whole point.
No
>>66432075
Agreed desu
>>66432178
>Nobody can prove there is a God, and nobody can disprove it
It feels like such a cliche, but the burden of proof is on the believers.
>>66432233
>It feels like such a cliche, but the burden of proof is on the believers.
No it's not. It's not up to anyone to prove anything. It's a belief. Since there is no reliable evidence either way, neither side can be more "right" or "wrong" than the other.
No.
I would rather believe in something rather than nothing it is way more fun
no i don't
Nah, but I go to church with my mom sometimes out of respect for her.
>>66427946
>benefits of spirituality in today's world
yeah that islam business sure is working wonders
>>66429951
>calls out people for having different beliefs to him
>people respond justly
>gets triggered and tells people to grow up
Lol, this is gold.
Not God in an Abrahamic sense but I believe in some uniting force present in all things. I guess I'd say I'm a pantheist
Agnostic
in the absurdist viewpoint, maybe, but as it is futile i shrug it off as a placebo
yes
Why wouldn't there be a god? Spirituality is inherent to a realized mind, whether that be explored through some kind of passion or delusion. The point of religion is to set the individual on the right path, all religion is just different paths to the same destination.
I guess like >>66432569 says, "some uniting force present in all things". Universal conciousness, etc.
pic related is not favorite but just what I'm listening to right now
like if even from a scientific perspective, interpretations of a god being in this sense are still worth considering (this video's presence or lack of validity notwithstanding, I personally don't buy too heavily into it)

No
>>66432831
top keke
>>66429951
you're joking, right?
Nope. I don't mind necessarily hide it but If my christian grandmother asks I will tell her I am a christian just to keep her happy.
>>66432955
pussy! i would suplex that old bitch for asking me that. stupid peasant. i'm gonna break her neck.
no
>>66433011
You leave my granny alone!
>>66425154
>>66425423
>>66425500
Up there with my favourite
But yeah, of course. The sheer complexity and harmony of natural systems was proof enough for me. The whole Jesus thing ain't for me tho.
>>66433073
oghay. but i'll be back.
yes
Yes, but not in the sense of an all seeing god that watches your every move and dictates your life.
Yes, but clearly the Bible is bullshit and in actuality God is an unbearble prick.
No,
and if asked by someone,
still no.
>>66433223
>He believes in god.
No, believing in god is for little babies.
>>66433323
what a loser
>>66433321
numale detected
>>66432831
underrated post lmao
I'm still finding out what God is.
nope
Dunno
Doesn't seem like it
Kinda hoping there is though
yes
Yes. Kind of a give away from the band.
Yes
Maybe.
What do people mean when they say they believe in god? The idea of a god like you read about in the bible is such a ridiculous thing to me that it's hard to believe that that is what people are talking about.
don't know but if he existed it would be necessary to abolish him
>>66434183
>>66432075
>>66432178
>>66432233
spirituality is not something that is explainable with science or logic. I am a very spiritual person, but it's more based in emotional and profound experiences that I've had rather than scientific experiments or having found definite proof.
>>66425995
My man. I was raised by very devout Christians and while my rational faculties now would reject God's existence, the fear of hell and eternal torment was sown deeply and still hangs over me
>>66432335
man, have you ever heard any atheist arguments ever?
because there isn't proof that any gods exist, they don't believe gods exist. it's not that because there isn't proof, there is no god.
No, I know i must seem really edgy, but I'm actually a really nice guy.
>>66433295
but god is an unbearable prick in the bible.
In fact the abrahamic god is the biggest asshole i could ever think over.
>>66434997
I understand that, it just doesn't counter what I said at all.
Yeah, but i don't believe him to be a moral entity. Just our creator.
Yes
>>66435292
>male pronouns
Either this or In Rainbows
And no, absolutely no
>>66435383
I'd fuck the one on the left. Though she'd probably bite my balls.
only if using 'god' to describe something bigger, all-encompassing and incomprehensible to us. I don't really believe in it as much as it is a passing suspicion. it doesn't really matter either way
I believe
>>66435517
This
>>66432178
well yeah but there are an infinite number of things that cannot be proved or disproved though.
my problem with debating the existence of god is it's really just working backwards from a belief that people already hold and trying to prove it.
that being said i respect how important and integral religion is to people's lives.
I don't really have a favorite album..
but instinct is my god.
>>66435242
the burden of proof is obviously going to be on those who make a claim about the existence of something, not on those who doubt that that something exists is what I mean
>>66432630
literally me
>>66434749
this.
I believe all "soul energy" is a product that defies time/space curriculum. And that being said i believe that same soul energy that is within all of us is God incarnated into a physical body, in order to comprehend itself as one entity. Hence why i think we are all God in our most genuine form. I think being "spiritual" isn't about having a personal relationship with God, but having a good personal relationship with self.
Fuck i got to this thread too late
>>66425251
kek
I don't care and I don't really think about it, if there is I'll worry about when I'm dead.
>>66436367
I know what you mean, and in a debate context that's true, the ball would be in the court of the person positing the theory of existence but as per validating one's own personal belief system, nobody is left to prove anything, for neither side is theoretically any more knowledgable than anyone else on what may or may not be out there. It's possible either way.
But yes, based on what you mean, were it feasible to prove/disprove it with concrete evidence, the burden of proof would be on those claiming existence.
no, don't find any reason to
>>66427742
> believing in god is the only way to be spiritual
Fucking kek
Yes
No, but I wish I could.
No but I really wish God was real.
>>66437085
As much as this got shit on when it first came out, this is honestly one of the Radiohead albums I listen to the most behind Kid A and In Rainbows. I guess it just took awhile to grow on me
>>66432831

(Inb4: "he took the bait")
