Not at all. One reason why they are popular is because they make uninteresting music which would appeal to a person who isn't exposed to a lot of music i.e. a large majority of the population. This and the fact that the frontwoman is used as a sex symbol makes the band easier to market to the average person. Mayberry is also an advocate for feminism, supporting refugees and other leftist ideals which increases appeal towards those who also support these causes. If so many people listen to this band, then others will think that the music they make is worth listening to, although it isn't.
