I would say Nujabes comparison to J Dilla is simple. They are brothers with not the same mothers.
J Dilla's music searches the Funky Soul and Nujabes searches for Spirtual Soul.
Personally I like J Dilla's music more, but that's simply because Donuts is better then anything Nujabes has made. But Nujabes has more material I can swallow.
It's kinda how I view The Beatles vs. The Beach Boys.
Pet Sounds beats all of The Beatles albums, but I have more to listen to from The Beatles.
Although I listen to both Pet Sounds and Donuts more then anything from their counterparts.
