Pic Related. I know it got alot of hate on here and I hated it as well but it slowly became my favorite M83 album.
>my favorite M83 album.

I feel like it has a much more cohesive feel to it than HUWD (Still love that one alot) and it's super cheesy. The cheesiness put me off at first but it has alot of charm to it and it feels really genuine because of it. Not to mention there's a couple of M83's best tracks on it.
I find that with most things patrish what are initially the good songs eventually become the bad songs

HUWD should not have been a double album desu

When the track list is 50% "feat." songs I suddenly lose interest
A friend let me borrow his copy in 9th grade and it took me a couple years of on again-off again listening to finally dig it. I still prefer the "junkier" songs over the ballads
The first few listens were very underwhelming, but after a couple more times I actually really enjoy this now. Definitely one of their better albums.

The Glow, Pt. 2
Thought it was just slow folk noise until a couple listens, now I consider it one of the best and most personal albums ever created
After WLFGRL's sonic fury I was underwhelmed by this, but on repeated listens the genius and forward thinking of this album begins to shine through. Machine Girl is in a league of her own
