I have one of these and it's pretty good, but the basic one doesn't come with a preamp.

U-Turn is pretty much the cheapest you can get. They start at 179 although I would at least swap out the cartridge to a Grado Black which ups the price to 234.
You also likely need a phono preamp assuming you don't have one already. The two most popular cheap ones are either the Pluto from U-Turn which is either 90 or 70 for built in, or the Schiit Mani for 130.

I tested some Tannoy speakers at a digital audio internship I did a few months ago. They're good quality for sure.
