> Projekto Sendecida - Santa Fe, Argentina
> psychedelic, instrumental, first wave post rock

We have a brand new studio album called Projekto de Bombas, made in collaboration with Pradera de Bombas, a band we're friends with and share one member. So this is a different album for us.

https://projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/projekto-de-bombas
Check out also our other albums:

https://projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/music

https://projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/el-vac-o-del-gaucho
https://projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/zapadas-vol-2

El Vacio Del Gaucho (2015) was composed over several months and, while recorded 'live' (simultaneously) it has overdubs and some studio trickery.
Our jam albums Zapadas vol 1 and 2 are selections of completely raw recordings and 100% improvised music made just for fun but are pretty nice albums in themselves. Then there's the debut self titled album from 2012.

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.

Seance is pretty much done. Just repairing my Teac 4010s tape machine so I can do a proper mixdown. Gotta replace a belt and reset a tension arm. This thing is from '67 so it's old as fuck and a total pain in the ass, but the wow/flutter alone makes it essential to this LP being completed.

Nice! Excited to see your short film.
>>66323278
I like your EP name, it's pretty cool. Blacklight is also a great drone track. For being essentially static, it's changing and richly textured and very interesting. I feel the same way about Whir. It reminds me of the prank of a drone artist who was actually an air conditioner. But seriously, this is good stuff.
>>66323366

>>66325032
Based Dave strikes again. I don't think I've heard this new single, but it's good stuff. Some of the synth hits in the second track are a little out of time, but I like the ideas in this. Reminds me of Strawberry Crime Scene a bit (no idea where that dude went).

>>66327243
Immediately listened to "get over it charlie brown" because I've had so many nicknames in relation to my name. I think it'd be super cool if the guitar was plucked lighter and the vocals were quieter because I imagine the track could get away with a more intimate feel. Your opening track is good, but I bet you could get a better take with some more consistent velocity and timing. I'm not sure if the quavering in your voice was intentional or not. I disagree with some of your production choices, but I really dig what you're doing. Keep working hard (then work harder) and getting better and you'll sound great.
>>66327562
Fantastic as always, man. Your bass is really great in the intro but I feel like the floor toms snuff it out at times. This song has an amazing sense of progression, pace, and timing. The break at the three minute mark is refreshing. The pause around 5:30 is also super interesting. Can't wait to hear the new album! Absolutely fantastic work man.

Elephant Seal sounds really cool, but it's tough to grasp with how little form there is. Green is a good track. The vocals are really cool, but could be mixed a little louder. The guitar seems just slightly off at places, too. Catrin is great, I really enjoy it. The brevity of the first three tracks is actually really interesting, especially in contrast to the fourth track. I appreciate building melodies into the structure of the rhythm guitar. If you're not paying attention, it sounds like it doesn't go anywhere, but it really does (which is one of the things I appreciate about ambient and drone). Fantastic stuff.
>>66329348

Ivy is a cool track. Your instrumentation and songwriting is super solid and I dig it. I enjoy emo and math rock and this is a great blend of the two. I wish I knew more about the blend of those genres. I could almost see the second chorus going a bit harder in the first part, but it's still fantastic work but the second half/bridge makes up for that and it's all cool.

Fun to listen, well produced, well played. Not really my favorite type of music, but keep at it. Only thing I found slightly annoying was this moment in Eventide where the bass did a high note, but generally good.
>>66326590
Interesting use of sound, surprising at times. The tunes are great, however I would add more instruments in the lower register (not everywhere), to give more balance. I found "He Calls Me By The Thunder" was my favorite, I think it could be a bit longer.

If this album were made in 2011 you would be super famous. Very good music for laying back and feeling nostalgic about memories. I don't know if your recording style is intentional, but it fits the kind of music you make. (peaking) is my favorite song.

i wouldve liked this more if it hadnt been so long and another thing is that the recording is not that great, it honestly sounds like it was recorded with an iphone, maybe mix the sound better so everything comes through clearly. Yeah, you're right. It was recorded on an iPhone. I never really intended for the quality to be great or anything. And believe me, I don't really know what was going on either. I was somewhere in another universe when this was all happening. Time was the only truth there was at the time, that's why it's so goddamn lengthy. Thanks for the feedback, Anon.

Free metal is an interesting idea. The bass riffs in the background at the beginning reminded me of TMR in a way, and the abrupt stop at around 30 seconds worked well I think. You should continue fleshing out this idea

I've just added one more track, an older one from my archive... last year I formed a short shoegaze band with a female friend (hoping to get her to do vocals, but things didnt work out). Anyway I think its one of the best songs on this double album.

(i may remove some of the filler tracks)

>>66329028

Slacker core guitar reminds me of warbley melodies a la Mac Demarco. Vocals are sort of drab, reminds me more of an artist named Jerry Paper. I could see your stuff being super popular with the teenage audience (they really dig your *lazy * aesthetic (in a good way). Musically your album sounds like a pleasant afternoon nap

>>66328138

Cozy and great music for the upcoming fall. Reminds me of Sung Tongs by Animal collective in a bit, but more subdued and washed out. Theres nothing wrong or offensive here to critique, what i liked most is the guitar work

>>66335553
Sound collage is the right term, very weird. But it does have a huge layer of humor and surrealism which i like. However its missing the punchline, absent of any reward I may not be inclined to listen again. I feel you are being weird for weirds sake, without anything that elevates it to a more artistic level. It feels like the listener isnt in on the joke...

I know, I just want something I can be happy with enough to release. People here, even with the lo-fi aesthetics I see, are still able to produce a pretty well made and mixed track. It blows my mind. Maybe I am just not for this because I just make a crap track and get bummed and frustrated, and then go on to the next. Whenever I feel like I improve I look back at it and I immediately kinda hate it again. I've been at it for over 2 years and I can't think of one song I've actually thought was better than bad. I've been doing my thing for coming up on five years and I still get frustrated with how much garbage I make. Don't get down on yourself. Before you get to mixing and recording you have to have good source material (your songs). That other anon's right, not everyone likes our stuff, but I enjoy my time here both as a fan and seeing other fans enjoy others' stuff and my own. You're going to make turds before you make tolerable stuff before you make decent stuff before you make good stuff and one day you'll be able to make great stuff.
>>66344479
I have at least two or three hours of material that will never see the light of day. You've probably seen the "rip off your favorite artists to get better" advice. Go ahead and do it. It's all about learning and constant improvement. I make good ambient music, but I suck ass compared to others. I play an acceptable bass, but I'm shit compared to most people. You'll always sorta hate everything you've done in the past, but that means that you can at least evaluate why you don't like it, learn from it, and get better. Always finish your shit, though. Make a fully realized track utilizing what you know and what you're learning. Try to make something you'd want to listen to, really flesh it out, and then go from there. Sure my singer can touch up a bass part, but it's better for me and easier for him if I get the perfect take twice. One two-minute song we had took us three or four days (so maybe fifteen to twenty hours if not more) to just record, then a week or two to mix, and two or three weeks to master. Work diligently and focus on constant improvement and stay positive and you will improve anon.

pretty much agreed with all of this, ive just recently started putting out material but i started copying a bunch of my favorite artists and messing around with sounds and I've found that just soundplay in general helps with finding your own sound, but most of all you should just do it for fun, dont make music because you want to be the best and sound the best, make it because its fun and you really want to

An album. Titled ">No Fun Allowed", it is a two year effort that the /MLP/ Plays thread have miraculously completed. What once started with a simple musician's thread became a full-blown 51 song album of music and minor spaghetti. There are covers, individual contributions, and even collabs, with genres that span from folk to jazz to heavy metal to EDM.

Below, you'll find the Bandcamp link. It's on a pay-what-you-want basis (so you can download it for free, if you're cheap), and all money goes to The Autism Society of America (http://www.autism-society.org/)

I've got roughly 25 artists that'll be on it so far, will continue to update as time goes on.

This is so much work. Up to 30. Have the names down. Have to find a way to organize them based on genre and subgenre effectively
