Like it? Buy a physical copy, go to their shows, buy merch, share and publicise their material/shows.

Don't like it? straight in the trash, no money wasted on bad artists.

It takes a long time, but I save at least $20-$40 from my paycheck to spend on music. I mostly get my old stuff from thrift stores and Rasputin, then I get my new stuff from Bandcamp and Amazon. I bother because I don't like ripping low quality music. I also like supporting new artists. I also like having a back up in case my hard drive crashes for whatever reason.

Exactly. Saves me so much time and storage. Plus my carrier doesn't count music streaming towards my data so it's basically unlimited music everywhere. It gets a little less comprehensive with all these Tidal-exclusive releases but whatever, was never really that into Beyonce anyway.

Bandcamp, both free downloads and i have a collection of 80 or so purchased albums
i buy cds.. yes i said that
and i also sometimes buy vinyl, usually only if it's something from an artist I like more than the average. I don't listen to vinyl much at all. just a collection / support thing. But, big big but - i only buy vinyl if they come with a DL code. if not then fucking nope, getting the cassette or digital release
i also get cds from the library every now and then, works well to rip old classical or jazz albums to my pc, but they also got some new stuff too. mainly get things from there from artists im not too into or just wanna check out
or in the case of jazz/classical, musicians are dead anyway and their stuff is often hard to come by and/or out of print
